If you use the time wisely to recover from a broken heart, you can move on and with very little baggage. It takes 1 year for every 5 years that you were in a relationship, to heal. Some choose to hang on to the negative feelings forever, it's a slow poison that will affect you and your next relationship.
I say this from experience. 10 years ago I was devastated, but chose to feel the pain in its every aspect. By facing the pain head on, every hour, week, month and year became a little easier. You can't side-step, bury, put-off or repress a broken heart.
If you're in pain; feel it, make friends with it. It will dissolve over time.
Everyone is demonizing Julian Assange of WikiLeaks, but not much mention of Pfc., Bradley Manning, the 22 year old US soldier who supplied Assange with all the documents.
Meanwhile the State Dept warned Columbia University students: Do Not discuss WikiLeaks on Facebook or Twitter, or else....
Is this the freedom that soldiers are supposedly fighting and dying for ?
"MILWAUKEE — It's the online equivalent of police breaking down the wrong door.
Court documents show that a typo caused federal investigators in Milwaukee to go through an innocent person's e-mail account as they tried to track down an alleged Russian spammer."
Home of the brave, land of the being watched every minute.
The phone rings and the lady of the house answers, 'Hello.'
'Mrs. Sanders, please.'
'Speaking.'
'Mrs. Sanders, this is Doctor Jones at Saint Agnes Laboratory. When your husband's doctor sent his biopsy to the lab last week, a biopsy from another Mr. Sanders arrived as well. We are now uncertain which one belongs to your husband. Frankly, either way the results are not too good.'
'What do you mean?' Mrs. Sanders asks nervously.
'Well, one of the specimens tested positive for Alzheimer's and the other one tested positive for HIV. We can't tell which is which.'
'That's dreadful! Can you do the test again?' questioned Mrs. Sanders.
'Normally we can, but Medicare will only pay for these expensive tests one time.'
'Well, what am I supposed to do now?'
'The folks at Medicare recommend that you drop your husband off somewhere in the middle of town. If he finds his way home, don't sleep with him.
As a Canadian, cold and snow are par for the course. I'll offer a few tips to deal with your bad weather. Invest in some long underwear, 50/50 poly-cotton. Avoid cotton shirts and pants; they hold your body moisture and make you feel much colder. Wear layers of clothing instead of a couple of bulky pieces. Wear a hat, 40% of body heat loss is from your head. Avoid rubber foot-wear if you can, again moisture builds up and freezes. Avoid alcohol and cigarettes if your going outside; both hinder blood vessels...skin, fingers, toes.
Protect your ears and nose from frost-bite, they are the most vulnerable.
With all due respect; again, it's just a joke, black humour as it is. For those who found it offensive, do you turn off your TV or walk out of a movie when they depict violence against someone ? Likely not, you know it's just a movie even though it represents segments of reality.

She may have slipped up, but 2 years ago she thought that Africa was a country. Despite the excuses of so many Palanists, she remains a dangerous moron.
RE: The Country that tops the list in Oil Reserves/Oil Production....
That time is coming sooner than we think.
