Being Canadian and enjoying free health care makes me wonder why so many Americans are against it. I would not want a corporation (health ins., company) deciding whether I live or die, after paying them an exorbitant monthly fee.
Free enterprise is the American way, but when it comes to your health they should follow the lead of Canada, England, New Zealand, Belgium, France etc. The reason why Canadians outlive Americans by 4 years is universal health-care.
but a divorce is forever. In the long run it's a good thing. Too many waste a good portion of their lives attempting to make a doomed marriage work. The excuses are many; "we stay together for the kids", "we can't afford to divorce," "I'd rather put up with him/her than being alone", etc., etc.

When did you get your 1rst PC and what brand was it ? Got mine 1997, Compaq. Didn't really know what to do with it. Google didn't even exist then. Before my 1rst PC, I actually read newspapers, books, and spent a lot of time doing real things.

Had to attend a dinner 2 weeks ago. My ex was there, and it was the 1rst time seeing her in 10 years. For the following few days I waited for an emotional backlash, long buried feelings coming to the surface.......nothing, zero, nada, rien. It feels so good.
After a relationship is over we often habour feelings far too long when there is no contact with our ex. Once you see them again those emotions are set free, never to return.
He was just pulling a practical joke on us with the Jesus thing. He didn't expect us to be so naive, or lacking in a sense of humour. Or, He's been on vacation for a long time and will clean up the mess when He get's back.
If there is no God; Coca-Cola, Microsoft etc., is going to have to save us.
World governments love to talk about "oil reserves", which mean nothing. There is a simple formula; the cost of extraction measured in barrels of oil compared to the net oil gain. At this point in time it's reaching the point of equal.

For the men; beauty is in the eyes of the "beerholder".
