From what I saw here she should not have been locked up as it seemed more to do about what she stood for rather than what she did . Not a good look for freedom of speech . Still it stopped some left drift for a while as Johnny said the pendulum had gone to far . Pity the left drift can't be stopped here .

RE: Ask yourself this question. Who benefitted most from 9/11?

Call them what you like Ray , but from your first two groups lots are with their gods and will not do any more harm to anyone

From here their need to shut her was more than any need for justice , so much for freedom of speech , not to keen on the gun totting nutters though . Could be why they like guns so much having their girl locked up . One brings on the other a bit .

Place next door sold for a mill , 650 700,000 would be high price to farm it . Company thats bought it has had second thoughts as they had a valuer up on Wednesday to see how big a hole they have bought . Don't like 1080 much as I had 3 of my 4 dogs poisoned 16 years ago .1 died and the other two might as well have as they were no good after that . Brushtail opossum was the target . Council treads carefully now when opossums are mentioned around me , I hold them no grudges though .It was the way things were done then . Needless to say 1080 is not used here anymore . It surprises me that it is used where you are ?Does the gum moth warrant 1080 . Seems to be abit over the top

No , you are spot on . We have an ETS as well , we will have to pay for our animals . Land that is being targeted for planting is sheep and cattle country , my type of land . Place next door changes hands tomorrow or tuesday and is being planted in pines . That place runs 2000 ewes and some cattle , guess whos going to miss out on the sheep to kill . Happened in Gisborne as well , now alot of that land is owned off shore . No employment growth and people wash up on your shore . Our leaders are rubbish and this has been so since 1985 when Sir Robert David Muldoon , was taken out by a lesbian M Waring , which allowed Lange in and his bunch of crooks .

Too right , once you can except that Governments are inherently evil and politicians consummate liars its gets easy to accert them for what they are .mumbling

Some of you will be keen on this . our Dear Leader is over talking to the Aussie head shed with a few of gang of his cohorts . Seems that if you want our DR's you have to pay for our bluggers as well . 15 years ago unemployed could get a job-search grant to go to Aussie , now it seems that if you are unemployed , and don't take the hint and go to Auss from here, after a time sitting on your bum the doll can be stopped as they are deemed not looking for work . Bloody good aye .wave newzealand

Not to bad , 18 deg inside , going to light the fire soon . Like the rain for the cattle but rather have it warm and dry for myself . Has not been near thirty for weeks here, winds got up two days ago nearly 160 just down the coast fromm here . Hows the detecter going ?

RE: Scientists Link Mass Death of Honey Bees to Farm Insecticide

What the matter Rob , having to sell seeds now . Gold not paying , or those dry creek beds full of water .laugh

RE: Scientists Link Mass Death of Honey Bees to Farm Insecticide

Don't be to sure on monsanto getting control any time soon as China is supplying both NZ and Aus with cheap chemicals now . Both finished products and ingredients . Some at a fith of the price . Metsulfuron (not to sure about spelling)is a good example of this . A product that we put with this , organo silican knocks bee's flat . OS is used to brake up the wax on leaves to let MSF in . We here are not allowed to spray when plants flower by law to protect bee's . Yet I know that I lost a hive in a caravan not far from 10 hectares I had sprayed by chopper . There were no plants in flower in the block . Nor was there any overspray on the hive area . They still picked it up over the next month or so .

RE: Scientists Link Mass Death of Honey Bees to Farm Insecticide

Honey bees have reduced in number in NZ as well for a number of reasons both mite and sprays . It has been in the rural news of late with claims of dire consequence for our farming systems . Another aspect thats not being explored is that the hive numbers have been increased unnaturally to take advantage of short flowerings .
Since the wild hive's have gone from here bumble bee's have increased markedly . My own surveys this month show that less than half size BB's are working well , one BB per 15 paces and within 3 paces of the line . One flower between 5 and 12 seconds , with some BB working clover both yellow (sub) and white and another group of BB's working other flowers of all colours but not the two clovers . In early spring willows prior (willows with a 8-10 meter shadow) to leaf burst have up to twenty mature bees in , with half the number on the ground . Not much evidence of honey bees until the commercial hive's arrive to crop the manaka honey .

RE: Ask yourself this question. Who benefitted most from 9/11?

Could be he might disappear if he says to much Albert

RE: What is Your favorite caliber?

looks like thats a modern one with a bottle opener on itgrin Boban

RE: Ask yourself this question. Who benefitted most from 9/11?

people from Afganistan and Iraq now get the choice of who rules over them , if they can stop fighting amongst themselves for ten minutes .

RE: What is Your favorite caliber?

well mine is 5.56 , ammo's cheap with less noise . You do have to get close for a deadly shot . I don't stalk , just walk up close when the deer or pigs are looking the other waygrin . With eight consecutive rounds over 12 months I nailed six red deer , one pig and a dog .All mature animals . Not one got up and ran away . On the heavy pigs I use the AP round when time allows , it gets in and how . A file across the nose of the ball round helps , just enough to show the hollow .

RE: Newt Gingrich for president

laugh yea , I shall see you later , I have to go

RE: Newt Gingrich for president

Yea for alot of EU members it is over valued as their economys are not strong enough to compete . There is to much at stake to let it go . The US $ has been in the crap before and recovered and will do so again . Countries that have had an overvalued currency to long run hit the wall sooner or later , the Argentine is a good eg , from memory they tried to keep their currency pegged to the US$ and they hit the wall big time , so will the weaker EU members if they don't change . We have the same problem in NZ , the IMF or world bank have said that our $ is 20 % overvalued , what did our leaders say about it ? just dismissed it . There is alot of book cooking going on at the moment .blues

RE: Newt Gingrich for president

I saw on a thread a week or so ago , EU has borrowed Zillins from the US , two speed EU now . Looks like one lot will use the eu and the other will revert back to what they used to have , yea Germany with the eu and every body else with their own currency .laugh .

RE: Newt Gingrich for president

wouldn't count on that happening , EU needs $ to keep afloat . Russia's current wealth depends on selling oil and gas on a world market ( no market , no demand )China's income depends on its exports for its income ,we were told yesterday that China's exports are dropping .
A human bird flu death in Viet Nam might wipe most of us out yet laugh

RE: Newt Gingrich for president

back in the box if the gold price drops laugh , no chance of that with world's money system hanging in the balance

RE: Newt Gingrich for president

could mean he's in the pocket of big gold , two Aussie guys from the forums have metal detectors , one's tooling up to hunt for gold .laugh

RE: Newt Gingrich for president

the guys a creep , Why can't the GOP find someone who can keep his pants on . Seems being able to pour crap on Clinton while doing the same thing is not the best nature in a man , GOP still have a Bush left to have a go .

RE: No Wuckin' Furries

If its not offensive why change the spelling ? We all know what it means . If its offensive spelt correctly then it should not be used if its aimed at kids .

RE: Proverbs!

A good fire will keep two people warm just as easy as one

RE: Sheep Shearing

16 year world record fell today for the two man 9 hour , 1341 sheep between the two of them . Some sheep less than 30 seconds each . Aus and Nz compete every year . The competition is always close . There are the Golden Shears held every year in Masterton . Shearers from all over the world attend .
