And once upon a time, when I used to have a boyfriend, and we went shopping and seperated in the supermarket, I could always find him being chatted up by some female..... in the frozen food section!!

I going to be decorating my converted barn apartment, in the very near future. L shaped lounge/kitchen/bathroom area, with front doors, and a back door around the other side of the L. Bedroom up in the loft. Going to take out the wooden "ceiling"/loft floor for half the space, fit skylights in roof. There's lots of wood, also in the typical Swiss structure of the walls..... the insulated wall parts between the beams are white.....so there are no "smooth solid walls" to paint.
Any tips and ideas most welcome. Bearing in mind I got this carpet I inherited.... wonder if its worth anything?... the owner left it for me cause you cant sell anything 2nd hand here.
Oh, I read something the other day about how passenger ships dispose of their sewerage? Its gets compressed into Huge Bales, and dropped in the Ocean... is this true? Well guess it gets re-cycles out there huh?

Sometimes I like the minimilist look, stark and modern, black and white..... gives the impression I'm Efficient.
Then other times.... should it be Very Colorful...clean bright colors, still in a simple smooth flowing style.....Young and Fresh.
Then along comes the Arabian Eastern Look, with Persian carpet, hot warm colours, curtains with gold thread, tasselled red lampshades..... Warm and Cosy.
My problem is ..... How do I make up my mind? I've got the Persian carpet.... So maybe I could combine that with bits of the other looks? Would that work?

What I would like to have explained to me is.... howcome all the fuss over smokers's health.... but not a word about the genetically altered foodstuffs, all the preservatives in food, all the Monosodiumglutonate and Tartrazine, all the benzoic acids, etc that people are throwing down their throats?.... causing their lovely little skin cancers?
And here they worried about the "cost" of smokers health? What about the cost of health from all the rubbish sold as "food"? And the "hyperactivity" of children from consuming it?... they all being treated with drugs to calm them down from their overconsumption of the abovementioned stuff... consumed mostly in the form "health snacks" for school, lunches, and "treats".
I smoke, and roll my own, from air-dried tobacco. Bought cigarette's tobacco is sugar dried..to give it that lovely flavour, and things added to make it burn well.
That is the part that grates on the nerves of lots of married women, I do believe...... Being referred to as "The Wife". Its like calling her Mom once she's had the children..... The Death Bell of a marriage? Imagine sleeping with someone who calls you "Mom"? yugh!... or "The Wife" yughy yugh!
Thats when he gets moved down to the cellar room, or the garden shed.
As long as we can smoke in private its okay, or out in the open.
Which is more dangerous.... fumes from a car, or fumes from a smoker?
Lock yourself in a room overnight with a running car engine and see what happens..
Then do the same with someone non-stop smoking cigarettes....
Its all a con... to put the blame on people. Watch the chimney stacks on factories, at night, thats when they remove the filters and belch the black stuff out into the skies.

I try and keep him away by being sarcastic and rude, but he just keeps popping up, all the time! It has become a sort of challenge here, to see if any other name can dominate the site..... but we have all failed miserably.
He does sort of grow on you, though, after a while. And one day when he is well and truly gone, I am sure we gonna miss him.

I used to do that too.. but then when they didnt do things like I liked things done, and got all moany moany about being told to do things properly, I had all this hassle of getting divorced from them, and paying lawyers, and all that sort of stuff, and so I decided to just eat off banana leaves with my fingers and not get married again!
Its not about anything I want to know.... I know EVERYTHING. Its about doing away with useless things.... and exactly, they dont use forks in china, just knives. And we got hands, so why do we use another implement to get the food into our mouth? Think of the Africans and Indians....I've seen them eating using their one hand! As for dishes..... in tropical countries they use Banana leaves to eat off, and then throw them away. Why do we complicate our lives?
Imagine a nice big pile of Banana leaves in the kitchen? and one sharp knife? Instead of the piles of breakable dishes, and the dishwasher to wash them in, and the dishwasher special powder, and the washing and drying cloths, and the time involved! Everytime you need a new plate, you just go outside and cut one!
