The sad fact about all the smoke that is being blown about raising the minimum wage is that the one's who will benefit the most are union workers. The union contracts have the wages of their workers tied to the minimum wage, so if the minimum wage is passed, the unions will be getting a big fat pay raise.
"When they never come back, you will always wonder if they were ever yours to begin with." Why would you try to hold onto someone if they were never yours to begin with? Just doesn't sound like a very healthy relationship to me.
If I find myself in a situation where I "really can't help myself", it is doomed. If I am that attracted to someone, she is almost always pure poison for me. I have finally learned over the years that if you can't be friends first, there is nothing to build on.
Very few people are willing to see that or admit to that. I do believe that this is probably the most common problem in relationships today. Still think it all comes down to selfishness.
