I tolerated my ex's clutter for 12 years but it was always an issue between us as no matter how tolerant I was the clutter just got worse and it's disrespectful having to pick up socks and chocolate wrappers off the floor, not to mention computer equipment everywhere, wires, gadgets covering every square inch of the floor. I put up with a bag full of mess from a move from 2 years when I couldn't take it any longer in the middle of the living room, and started clearing it there was a scene.
I just got asked this question in an introductory e-mail from a man. I replied it was a rude question to ask. Not to mention shallow and refrained from telling the guy he is too old and shallow for me. What do you think of this tasteless approach? Is it justifiable on internet dating?
you're right. at times i remember the beginning, the love grew with time in the beginning it was attraction. I suppose it can happen again but it takes time to move on from a shared experience of 12 years and it's only been just over a year. Time probably does heal.
After a long term relationship, your first long term, are you left feeling you can't love again because of a bond you still feel you have with your ex?
totally agree. lived in London and never made any friends. Everyone's too busy commuting and people come across as unfriendly. London can be a very lonely place. No suggestions I'm afraid as I ended up leaving London.
I once went on a date with a supposed 49 year old. The pic on cs was quite old, when we met he looked old and in the end he fessed up to being 60. he said he lied because women search for men up to 50. For a while we sustained a friendship but in the end I couldn't stomach his pretensions that he could pull a 20 year old cause he was rich.
Can a tidy person and a clutterer live together in harmony?
