Larry made a point and only because of that I am responding.
I have refrained from posting because of the degrading comments made about women for many months. It wasn't just one person, it is several men following a particular man's lead. Why should I put myself in an environment where I'm not respected.
I often read people say that if you don't like a thread then move on to another one. I did that for awhile but the degrading threads became abundant and aside from a word game or a joke thread there wasn't a thread to be seen that would bring men and women together in a conversation or a debate. So rather than be frustrated by some men taking over the site I chose to stay away.
There are women who say they are strong and they don't let the misogynistic threads bother them. That is fine for them. I don't want to be strong to stand up to a men who disrespect me. It's not important in my world. That's why I chose to stay away from the forums. And look, it's doing just fine except there are very few women to hang curtains (metaphor).
When I log onto CS it is to enjoy the interaction of men and women who want to laugh at a joke or sometimes laugh at each other in a respectful way. I also log on to discuss something important such as OLTs thread about washing our hands. I gave up being a recluse for a moment to post in that thread because I felt I had something to contribute. Those are the kind of threads I'm used to after almost 14 years on CS.
If CS is to become a duck soup site I will stay away. CS will certainly survive without me and I will do just fine without CS. However, if men feel they want women back then they need to show it. Not with candy or flowers. Just try to be kind and respectful to the ladies that want to be kind to you.
That is true. Not all but a lot of women using a public restroom are pigs.
The thing people might not realize is that when you wash your hands do not turn the faucet off with your clean hands. Use a paper towel.
When you leave the room, do not use the doorknob to open the door, pull your sleeve down to turn the doorknob. If you have short sleeves on use a paper towel. If you can reach the trash can throw the paper towel in otherwise you have to carry it until you see a trash can.
Going to the grocery store is a nightmare. The handle of the buggy has germs. There are wipes you can use to clean it but then you wander around the store picking up things to look at the nutrition label. Someone before you might have done the same thing and had a serious germ on their hands.
Then you put your groceries on the conveyor belt. The clerk loads them in a bag, you hand her cash or a credit card. If it's a card she hands it back to you with germs and you put it in your wallet. Even if you put the card in a reader there might be germs in the reader from the previous customer.
If you have a sanitizer in the car use it before you go home. If you don't you'll touch the steering wheel, door handle, doorknob of your house and then you proceed to put groceries in cabinet and fridge. Before I put groceries away I wash my hands. If I didn't I could transfer germs all over my house.
You might stop for coffee or a cold drink before you go home and maybe a donut Don't touch that donut. Hold it with a napkin and enjoy.
The point is, even though you wash your hands in the restroom you need to be careful in keeping those hands clean because the very next thing you touch could have serious germs that could make you and your family very sick.
Jennifer and Shakira forgot that young children watch the Super Bowl and the halftime show. What children saw were two women spreading their legs in very small costumes, shaking their backsides throughout the show and putting their bodies in inappropriate poses that young children shouldn't see. When Shakira spread her legs the camera was in a position to see what shouldn't be seen on a woman except in her bedroom.
Hopefully next year I will see a half time show that has musical performers presenting their music and not their half dressed bodies.
I don't have a problem that men liked the half time show. What I have a problem with is that it was inappropriate for children.
When I see a tv commercial of a father using a hammer, a saw, a paintbrush, or of him decorating the house with Christmas lights in the commercial I think of the days when my childhood was innocent and happy.
and so decided to drink on overnight. its 4.20am now. i have no desire to stop. lol
i wonder why this happens on occasion. ?
Perhaps your brain is so anesthetized that you've gotten past the point where you can use your brain to make a decision.
Right now it's a habit to keep raising your arm to take another chug. I've done the same thing with potato chips, not using my brain to stop putting my hand in the bag.
It's an automatic reflex to keep picking up that bottle/glass.
By asking "why are you doing it" you answered your own question that you know you shouldn't
Maybe it's time now to not take another chug, put your jammies on and go to bed.
Geez, you're a bundle of laughs. Sorry I thought you would enjoy the fun of the video of people saying who they think will win just like many people do. Cripes
I watched the full video and came to the conclusion that Darwin was right.
However, my questions about Adam and Eve is.......how did they learn to be shameful to cover their private parts. I should ask Stringman that question. It must say somewhere in the Bible when God told them to be shameful
