its takes time to get over an old love....seems you are putting alot of pressure on yourself to find a replacement for your ex...let time heal and then move on...dont jump from man to man, someone is bound to get hurt...chances are it might be you. (when i say jump from man to man, i dont mean it poorly) more like dont be so fast to fill the void. learn to be happy with yourself JMO

but magic...no one truly forgets, it does stay on their mind to some degree depending on the situation. we can say to forgive and forget, but realisticly we dont forget it. it is humanly impossible.

It's usually easy for me to forgive and move on. only true forgiveness works with me...to forgive is to let it go and hold no resentment or bring it up again and again..if thats done then there was no real forgiveness just the words not the actions.
forgetting is a whole different story at least with me, depending what it is of course. somethings are not meant to forget, somethings you cant forget, somethings are stupid to forget.
