I am so guilty of "Honey, can you lift this for me please, it is so heavy, Please honey!" It may be too heavy, but I usually manage to push or pull the object into place. But if a strong man is there why not ask??? I likes to feel his muscles.
Neither men nor women open doors in Canada...we roll the ice cube away from the entrance to our ice homes. We all have sleds called "Freds" and wolves to pull our freds. Rarely do I let a strange man drive the fred. Not because I want to be in control, no it is because my puppies like me to drive.
Canada has already offered help. We are not a big country population wise. We do what we can. The government has offered help and so have individuals. The world is doing something, don't blame the world for ones ills. If a foreign body tried to invade my country (not USA), believe me I wouldn't run to the USA as a refugee. If my own government turned against their citizens I would stay and fight to my last breath.
Why are these "stars" so weak. Are their lives so different from ours. We have stresses and yet most of us don't succumb to drugs and antics. Because they are "stars" do they think that the authorities and public should turn the other way and be more lenient with them. They are a bunch of whining babies. Charlie definitely is suffering from some break from reality.
Just listened to a song by Jimmy Wayne....Paper Angels. It is about Christmas and children that have not. A wish tree for the children. Most malls have them at Xmas. I gave to a little boy this Xmas. I hope he enjoyed the gifts I bought for him. I love to give.
Sorry, never the read your question just the title. So would I be with someone poor but who loved me though never bought me gifts?.....NO! Doesn't have to be the most expensive gift..in fact I don't wear jewelry. There are a lot of ways to procure trips, gifts etc without spending money. It is called barting. I can't see why someone can't borrow money, if they have a decent full time job..then bank would lend money. I am not talking about a trip every year. All work and no play makes Johnny a very boring husband. (time for a divorce)hahahahahahaha

Went out dancing last night for the first time since the end of October 2010. The band was great (as usual) but the bar the pretty empty. But I danced anyways, maybe next Friday will be better.
IQ tests are biased. A North American test of the 50's is biased towards caucasians. The same test given to black Africans would indicate falsely that their IQ would be lower. I do not believe in IQ tests. During elementary and high school I did not allow my children to be tested. I did not want teachers to label my children.
I wish I could lie without feeling guilty. Unfortunately I am too blunt, which upsets some people. I wish I was diplomatic without being a diplomat because they are usually liars. Actually I find most people lie to some degree. I will say nothing rather than lie. Or I will spin a tale with such glee that people know I am lying.
