Course i would, I wouldn't be in a relationship with someone unless there was trust in that relationship on both sides. I would trust her completely on her girls weekend, just as i would expect her to trust me too. I have never cheated and never would. I would go to the party and it wouldn't be risking temptation. Staying over would be a definate no no. I wouldn't blame her if i got dumped for doing that cause that would just be wrong.
Just wondering if anyone here has accessed counseling without having been referred by a doctor? Do you have to be referred by a GP, is it costly, is it covered by private health insurance, is there a waiting list? How does a person go about getting counseling?
You are spot on, people do buy beer like the world is about to end and yes it is only one day. My problem with it is that this is a legacy issue from a time when Ireland was a Catholic country, ruled by the hierarchy who dictated that we didn't eat meat on Fridays and pubs stayed closed on Good Friday. Thing are supposed to have changed, Ireland is now supposedly a secular country, people eat what they want when they want, yet we have this archaic law keeping pubs closed on Good Friday.....its a nonsense of a byegone era that needs to change. I was out there for a bit on the main street of the town i live and i saw several people going up and down the street with slabs of beer, its insane. I also spoke to a garda recently and he said that 75% of their work on Good Friday is domestic violence, way higher than the normal Friday night. The farce that is Good Friday pub closing is out of date and irrelevant to people today, it needs to change. So also does our whole attitude to drinking as a country but that is a whole different thread.
Like everything CS is what you make of it, instead of moaning about it how about those who say it is so bad put their thinking caps on and liven it up a little.
Oh now thats an interesting one. I would die of boredom on a desert Island, there is only so much swimming one can do......and if the island was in a climate like Ireland (in normal weather not the weather we have had the last few days) there would be no swimming.
So to get rid of the boredom i would bring Scriobhneoir with me, based on the threads we agree on nothing so we could pass the hours away arguing with each other. He would probably drive me insane but he comes out with some stuff thats so off the wall i would just have to laugh.
The list of great women choices on CS to bring is so vast, i couldn't reduce it to one.
I would bring a fishing rod and a laptop with internet connection.......lets face it i might be on a desert island but i couldn't go without CS.
if you read the Chemistry thread you will see i was making that point, same as what you read.
I would say something different to pubs, clubs or coffee shops. How about Karting, the circus, a game of pitch and putt or a picnic....hows that for starters?
