RE: Did you grow up to be what you wanted to be when you were young?

No,don't believe I did.

RE: A genius in sport

For pure skill Brazilian Ronaldo tops my list,he was an absolute freak for a few years there.I really didn't see enough of Maradona to comment, however from what I have seen( famous world cup goals and the like)I'd say over-rated springs to mind.

RE: trust nobody do you agree

Not really. Actually it boggles my little mind just how much faith, and trust I place in others, infact we all do,everyday in so many ways it's actually a little scary, cause I don't entirely trust people.beer

RE: Would you kiss the person above you or pass? Part 5

lips lips lips lips

RE: THE WEATHER (wherever you are)

About 25C/77f,a little overcast, with approx 70% chance of rain I reckon.

It's nice it's cooled down a bit cause it's been quite hot here recently.

RE: What book are your reading at the moment?

There was a movie was there,I didn't know that,I'll keep an eye out for it.handshake

RE: ... Is the new generation becoming a generation of morons with a 'learned helplesness' and inflated

generational improvement, thats the rule, can't argue with nature.

Of course theres always exceptions to the rule.

BTW,what would constitute the "new generation",people born in the last week, month, year, last twenty years?confused I have no idea, however nature insist on generational improvements, that's true of all things spawned of seed.

RE: What book are your reading at the moment?

The entire Bill Bryson collection, somehow I missed this guy, sheer ignorance on my behalf, laugh out loud funny, and very entertaining.
I like him very much.

RE: What's your favorite alcoholic drink?

Simply not a drinker,so I haven't tried alot of alcoholic drinks,however I don't mind the odd beer,especially after a boiling hot day,James Boags my favourite,I think it's a tasmanian beer,although not 100% sure bout that but whereever it's from,it's quite nice.

RE: Your favorite dog breed!!Good one!!

I grew up with a border collie,so I'm definitely partial to them, very smart, little too smart actually,I'd call him to come at times, and he'd come,if he felt like it,he'd make up his own mind,if he didn't want to,he simply wouldn't.

Extremely energetic though,I wouldn't get a border collie again unless I lived on sizable property,or had all the time in the world to walk them.

RE: English is second language in England

I'd like send a big fat thankyou to my great great great great granfather for being a thief, and saving me from having to shoulder the burden of a very old culture. It's so nice to be forging one, instead of protecting one.

RE: Welcome To Barack Obama's New World Order

rolling on the floor laughingrolling on the floor laughingrolling on the floor laughing Oh I'm waiting with bated breath for latest man.
The president on CS,wow, just farkin wow...

RE: Nobel Peace Prize

No,I think it was correct,in so much as the young girls a fighter, and all power to her,but getting shot and standing up to oppression doesn't warrant a peace prize, more likely a military award of some sort would be more fitting for her.

Lobbying for,and actually reducing chemical weapons is more deserving of a peace award in my view.

Vegetables. Love my vegies.

And fish,love my fish.

And sugar,love my sugar.

RE: What is your point of view on marihuana

Totally agree,100%.

RE: What is your point of view on marihuana

No monopoly Ray,doubt there ever was, certainly isn't these days.

Fact is more and more pot is coming out of small scale indoor set-ups than ever before,(what do you think all the hydro shops are for, vegetables gardeners?)It's damn near immpossible to police and absolutely impossible to monopolize. And it's near on world-wide.

What about the "legal" synthetic THC phenomona going on at the moment, how do you work that into your "tax free" monopoly theory?

RE: stigma of mental illness

It would be better no doubt if mental illness produced bleeding from the forehead,or some other definitive sign, probably would help with the stigma bit, seeing is believing as they say.

It really is ridiculous that our general mental health plays second fiddle to physical health,in regards to medical check-ups and what not, probably is changing, and not before time either, given sanity ain't a birth right, and everyones susceptible to some extent,it really souldn't be so divisive an issue.

RE: Vodka

barf barf Can vodka go off? I swear I had some gone bad vodka once, drank about one hundred mls and ended up in hospital for the night, with very little memory of it all,and I've never touched the stuff again, bloody horrible.

RE: Is it a valid argument from a Vegetarian .........

What she saying is that, her reasons for not eating it had nothing to do with the killing aspect, just that she didn't like it,you've somewhat misinterpreted the post.

RE: Do you own a Kindle and spend money regularly to buy books for Kindle?

So thats what a Kindle is.handshake

I don't have an e-reader at this point,no plans to buy one although it wouild make reading in bed a little easier, might get one for that purpose one day.::

RE: What book are your reading at the moment?

Atlas Shrugged again,By the wonderfully funny Ayn Rand, such a funny lady, and quite the novelist, although it may be just a little long, that would be my only complaint of it,but all in all a great read.

RE: Have you ever bathed with mineral water?

Don't believe I've ever had the pleasure.

I bathe in a river at the present moment, which is quite nice at sunset, after a boiling hot day, although the water could be a little cleaner,I wouldn't drink it,but good enough to bathe in though.cheers
