Re-reading Capra's Tao of Physics, had forgotten how scientific it is in the beginning. First read was 1978.

The swan Thieves by Elizabeth Kostova and Captain Corelli's Mandolin by L. de Bernieres and looking forward to rereading Markus Zusak's The book Thief. That's a little gem.

I had seen the movie before, which on its own I thought was rather enjoyable to watch.
Reading the book now, its casting was appalling. I will have to read it twice to get that movie out of my head. still, enjoying it so far.

Politics By Aristotle Again
Love the line "we are all political animals" ! often think of what Aristotle meant and have come up with a myriad of ideas which is what makes a great political writer the ability to make you think and question over and over againyay

"Tre metri sopra il cielo" ("THREE METERS ABOVE HEAVEN") by Italian author Federico Moccia.

I'm reading it in Spanish, though. The movie, from Spain, is really cute.

I have a teenage daughter, I still need to monitor her reading and movie choices mumbling

We live in a very small country, as "first world" as we try to see it. The circumstances that kids encounter here are not necessarily the same circumstances kids find in Europe or USA. dunno

Atlas Shrugged again,By the wonderfully funny Ayn Rand, such a funny lady, and quite the novelist, although it may be just a little long, that would be my only complaint of it,but all in all a great read.
