I think they could have come up with crueler punishment. Fill his cell with Americana, prop his eyes open and make him watch equal parts Fox News and Entertainment Tonight. He'd be begging to be hanged.
My reaction is two parts - good riddance and good for the families of people he killed. The other part is I am not entirely sure what it accomplishes, other than giving those who need little reason the grounds for more violence.
Me, personally, I don't see myself striving for any prize. Rather, I seek those moments or situations where I'm content and there's peace and acceptance in the life I have.

I don't see any harm here - I don't agree with it, and already spoke my piece. Mitchell seems like good people, even if I don't agree with the politics (hey, you're just wrong, ya know - joking)! Realistically, there are those among us that don't like all the anti-Bush threads, but they tolerate it just the same.
I saw on the news last night that they were preparing for "the largest New Year's Celebration on the West Coast" at the Orange County Fairgrounds. Since the fairgrounds are right up the street from me, I may just go check it out.

Many many moons ago, I actually had not one but two blind dates. To my surprise, both were most pleasant experiences (one of which actually turned into a relationship). I suppose here, thanks to technology, you have some idea of what to expect. Or not.
I'd like to think I'd eventually find "the one" here, but if not, so be it. There's some great folks here - I enjoy reading the posts. I'd also like to think it makes the world a little smaller, and heck, you people kept me company this Christmas...

That's a good point. I don't hate GWB as a person, in fact, I'm sure he'd make a fine 7-11 clerk. But to say I don't like what he has done would be an epic understatement.
