Another curse of mine is being overly analytical. To wit

I am comfortable with who I am, yet have little in the way of self-importance. I take others much more seriously than myself. When I am paid a compliment, which does not happen very often, I am genuinely surprised. Wait - is that comment being self-effacing or a lack of self-esteem?

"Cute" - a little trite for a man my age. "Hot" - a little overused in these parts - typically in reference to overdone and, ahem, potentially unnatural appendages. Now "beautiful," that's meaningful

Iran is sitting on one of the largest energy reserves in the world, of course it needs nuclear power. Israel has a right to defend itself; Palestenians want an independent state; supporting democracy in Lebanon gets you assasinated; Saudis get the wink and nod as long as the spigots are on; and we seemingly create more terrorists than we are vanquishing. Sigh. Any peace in that region in this lifetime would be a miracle. Just my .02...

Oh yeah, I'll write in Rich and Photo on the next ballot...
