I was sitting at this very desk one Sunday morning shortly after I moved here for work.
I thought I felt the cat jump up on the back of the chair (she resides there when I'm on the computer). No cat. The monitor was moving a little back and forth, as was the ceiling fan above my head. Hardly a traumatic episode, but welcome to So Cal...
Agree with you on F1 - I lost interest some time ago. I've been enjoying anything production-based, and of course, hard to find on the tube. Sounds like, however, F1 may be getting interesting again.
Well, there was that time I was on Jerry Springer with Dennis Rodman, Don Rumsfeld, and some midgets. Someone picked up a chair and things got ugly in a hurry....
Many, many moons ago, I was in a brief relationship (say six months) with a beautiful, even striking, woman. Perhaps, you could say, at another level than this average guy. My friends thought I won the lottery.
And she was nice. VERY nice. I mean REALLY NICE in a June Cleaver syndrome sort of way. The problem was, there was not much in the way of independent thought. It was always what I wanted to do, always in agreement with me. And it was not that her interpretation on things were wrong, there just was no interpretation of anything whatsoever. In of itself, this drove me a little nuts.
Then again....hmmmm. Wait. Maybe it was not so bad
