RE: How does the rain make you feel?

I love the rain. Even as a kid I would sit by the window just watching the rain fall. Some people may find it silly but I never use an umbrella. I guess there's just something about it. Maybe it's the memory of old movies and the romance of a couple laughing as they run through the rain to find some type of shelter from it and then laughing because they are both soaked from it. Maybe it's just the peacefulness of the rain days. Kind of like watching the snow falling in winter.

I remember feeling like that at one time a long time ago. I found that it was because I wasn't allowing myself to just be me. You've already said that you keep shutting it out and you can't do it forever. Now the questions are....

Allow yourself the freedom to be yourself and find out who you really and truly are. I guarantee that all those missing pieces are all there, you just keep looking over them instead of seeing them.

Skippy, I'm going to tell you the same thing I just told her...

It seems to me that the two of you are miserable without each other. I think that if you two truly want to be together, which it seems apparent that you do. You will find a way to do so, ex or no ex. Love has no boundaries, and sometimes distance makes it just that much stronger. Physical distance can be overcome at some point and time. Don't give up on what may be a chance at true love and happiness. I'm 2100 miles away from the man that I love and would do anything to be there with him right now, but circumstances at the moment won't allow me to. After I'm done with physical therapy and the Dr's give me the ok to do what I want, I'm on the next flight out of NY going to Phoenix.

It's never easy, but you have to look at it and ask yourself if you truly want to give up on a possible once in a lifetime chance. Whatever you choose to do, make sure you have no regrets when you do it.

Well if you come to the US then you must see the entire country, whether it's by car, tractor trailer or RV. When I drove tractor trailer, I saw many beautiful places in this country, one of these days I'm going to explore it on my own time instead of on someone elses. I've been on top of some of the most incredible mountains and have seen things that you thought only existed in the movies. It's absolutely incredible.

That's where most people make their mistake. Don't have expectations of yourself nor put them on anyone else. You'll find that if you lose the expectations and just allow things to happen instead, that you will not be disappointed and you might actually have someone come into your life that you didn't expect
