The holidays are the hardest time when your single. At least I know they are and have been for me. My daughter is married with a baby of her own, so she has a life other than Mom. I believe they call that empty nest syndrome, but I think it applies to not being in a relatonship with someone also. It's the time of year that we celebrate and share the days with those we love and care about.

As someone said before after the holidays pass it will probably be easier. Until then, just keep yourself busy with projects that you like to do and surround yourself with family and friends.

Well when I joined here, I never expected to find my "true love". Though I thought I had found that person at one time, it just wasn't meant to be. I've made many friends since I've been here though and I enjoy the forums. If I find the person that I want to share the rest of my life with or not, it doesn't matter to me. I'm happy either way.

Flowers and emails go both ways. Flowers are a good way to break the ice if you're interested in someone. The forums are just a way of communication instead of a chat room, and you get to know people and make friends and see how people interact as well as you get to see some of their personalities.

Actually I have seen that. Being an EMT in NY for as many years as I have, I have found many frozen body parts that have broken off as a result. It not a pretty sight, though sometimes those parts can be put back on depending on the damage.

Angry and argumentative people. Those who have nothing nice to say to anyone about anything. I won't mention any names, but there was an individual on here a couple of months ago that did nothing but cause hate and discontent anywhere they posted.

Good for you Rox. I drove for over 3 years, and I absolutely loved it. I miss the road, but I'll get back out there one of these days. Don't let some of those drivers get to you. There's still a few out there that think that women don't belong driving tractor trailers...Ignore them. Good luck and have fun out there.
