RE: And tomorrow is Saturday the 14th...

No matter how hard I try Molly, I can't seem to hang up my rock'n'roll shoes..

There is something about country music with a boogie beat..

RE: And tomorrow is Saturday the 14th...

Just change the rules to suit yourself...

Lick the chocolate and suck the nut..

This song will make you feel better. With the blues or bad luck all you need is rockin' chair..

Run the race like 'Shorty' and cut across...(that's what Miss Lucy said...)

RE: And tomorrow is Saturday the 14th...

Maybe everyone else is one day in front.

RE: And tomorrow is Saturday the 14th...

So your bad luck day is a Saturday 14th then?

RE: Six Nations Rugger thread.

Only half true. Ireland also need Scotland to beat England<--can't see that happening.

RE: And tomorrow is Saturday the 14th...

Try doing 'The Vega' (kinda like Yoga but with a 'V & E' instead of a 'Y & O'...)

And tomorrow is Friday 13th...

Here is a Friday 13th type song...

And tomorrow is Friday 13th...

Black cats are cool and good luck pedro..

And tomorrow is Friday 13th...

Not so fast....

I wonder if the 2nd last fact happened on Friday 13th... (you can forward until 2mins 7seconds)..

RE: Are the people who dont show profile pics hiding something ?

Maybe some people are simply ugly and using their personality.

RE: Post a Song thread

And tomorrow is Friday 13th...

There you go fella's, if you are feeling lucky and want to try and butter molly up, don't try on a Tuesday or the 23rd of any month as refusal often offends (and if it's a Tuesday 23rd then forget about it)..

On the other hand you may have better luck on a Saturday or the 16th of any month (unless it's a Tuesday 16th)....

Personally I like Wednesday (and day of the month) basically I know I'm over the hump of the week and the weekend basically starts around late noon Thursday (as a rule)..

'King of Ireland' law repealed by Irish government

A law stating that the Queen is "king of Ireland" is among thousands of obsolete statutes to be repealed by the Irish government. It is one of 5,782 regulations and orders dating from before the Republic of Ireland became independent that are being cleared from the statute books.

It is the largest repeal of outdated laws carried out in any country.

The 1542 proclamation being repealed declares that the English crown shall be "King of Ireland".

Among the other orders listed for removal are:

A proclamation of 1227 to proclaim in Ireland the laws and customs of England

A proclamation of 1346 declaring English money to be current in Ireland

A proclamation of 1561 declaring Ulster king Shane O'Neill to be a traitor

An order from 1590 prohibiting the sale of horses out of the Pale - the area outside greater Dublin - upon pain of death

A declaration of 1654 ordering the removal of Catholic landowners with their wives, children and families from the provinces of Leinster, Munster and Ulster to Connacht

A proclamation of 1665 ordering the quarantine of ships' passengers on account of plague

Reform Minister Brendan Howlin said it would "pave the way for further simplification and modernisation measures"

And tomorrow is Friday 13th...

What about say a Tuesday the 23rd of the month or a Saturday 16th for example...

And tomorrow is Friday 13th...

Biggest solar flare of the year causes radio blackouts on Earth - and a geomagnetic storm is predicted for tomorrow

Space weather experts in Colorado, US issued a warning on a solar flare

It was the biggest eruption of the year and peaked 4.22pm GMT yesterday

It has already caused radio blackouts on Earth and a minor geomagnetic storm could occur tomorrow

This flare was emitted from Active Region 12297 (AR12297) on the sun

The first ‘significant’ solar flare of the year has been spotted by a Nasa observatory. The flare peaked at 12.22pm EDT (4.22pm GMT) yesterday and was watched by the orbiting Solar Dynamics Observatory (SDO). This flare was the most powerful of the year so far, and is predicted to cause a geomagnetic storm on Earth tomorrow following blackouts today.

SOLAR STORMS AND EARTH

Solar flares can damage satellites and have an enormous financial cost.

The charged particles can also threaten airlines by disturbing the Earth’s magnetic field.

Very large flares can even create currents within electricity grids and knock out energy supplies.

A positive aspect, from an aesthetic point of view, is that the auroras are enhanced.

Geomagnetic storms are more disruptive now than in the past because of our greater dependence on technical systems that can be affected by electric currents.

Irish women are very friendly and very communicative. You are pressing the wrong buttons or not saying the right things.
