Today is World Beard Day and in true social media style, men all over the world put down their razors and picked up their selfie sticks to share pictures of their facial hair.
World Beard Day, celebrated on the first Saturday of September, is promoted as a day for bearded family members to relax and partake in no jobs or chores.
According to the official World Beard Day website, the beardless members of the family traditionally show their support by waiting on the bearded hand and foot.
Shaving on World Beard Day is universally considered to be highly disrespectful.

Ford has quizzed a bunch of British children about their parents' driving for a lighthearted new campaign video.
When the boys and girls from the Oak Tree Nursery were asked whether 'mummy' or 'daddy' was the better driver, the unanimous response was: 'Daddy.'
One boy piped up, very matter-of-factly: 'Because he knows the way.'
A little girl concurred, nodding enthusiastically and stating of her mother: 'She's not very good at driving.'
The car giant surveyed more than 2,000 children across Europe and 61 per cent agreed that their fathers were better than their mothers on the road.
Asked whether their parents ever got 'annoyed' in the car, the Oak Tree children confirmed, unsurprisingly, that yes they did.
'When people are taking short cuts and when some people are blocking the way,' one reported.
' beeps all the way to nursery and all the way home,' another giggled.
The campaign just goes to show that children are not just staring out the window. They see it all - the good, the bad, and everything in between.
The European-wide survey found that on the flip-side, children were most annoyed by their parents singing at the wheel, shouting at other drivers and picking their noses.
When asked what their experiences were on long journeys, the results were mixed.
One boy sung the praises of Bob the Builder, his favourite in-car entertainment.
Meanwhile a rather forlorn-looking girl replied: 'I just sit on my car seat with no one sitting next to me. I get all bored.'
But one set of parents clearly hit the jackpot, when their son proudly proclaimed: 'My daddy's car and my mummy's car is not boring. When I've gone on holiday I had chocolate there.'
