That's reciprocity. Until the brexit process there were no boundaries for the EU citizens inside the eurozone, but now is discussed if the british would reject them and if the EU does the same.
In my opinion, there's absolutely no other reason to reject the brits in my country, even if they put limits to the spanish workers there. But, in this case, probably UK just can expect the same response.
