We are indeed a bit of both in a way...
We are set to have numerous relationships for different reasons but remain monogamus while in them(with exeptions of course)...
Why one wants to be with the same person for longer is a complex thing...
Many animals and birds mate for life, why not humans...

We are beings of light who have lost their spirituality and ancient knowledge ,where do we belong?
A better question would be,what are we searching for ..., enlightenment, soulmate,piece of mind ...
