There seems to be a problem with the site. It went down for half an hour 2 nights ago. Many of us have had the same authentication warning. I can only assume that both the thread and the O/P have been removed for trouble making.
Easy does it! Wait till the morning. There could be any number of reasons he hasn't contacted you. People nowadays seem to want everything NOW! Some people don't move that fast.
This reminds me of a happier time in my life. It was the year of Band Aid. It was the year of Uptown Girl with Billy Joel and Christina Brinkley. Geldof was asking us to Feed The World! Duran Duran were at their height. Tracey Ulman had a couple of hits too!
But before I chose Johnnie Walker over a bonnie wee lass in the Scottish Borders, I remember snuggling up on the couch to Top of The Pops and this being on!
If only I had a time machine, I'd go back and give myself a good talking to!
It depends how deep the root of the fear is buried. Sometimes things happening today trigger a fear that has been long since buried but facing the trigger over and over will only escalate the anxiety and cause frustration and inwardly directed anger.(What am I doing wrong? Can't I do anything right?) I would class this type of fear as unknown because the memory and the emotion have been seperated in our minds.
These fears tend to be rooted in childhood and are often caused by a child wrongly interpreting situations such as the break up of a family, mum being moody or dad being drunk and unapproachable.
The only way I know to deal with this is to start writing stuff down and trying to match the fear with the correct memory. It's hell going through life cross wired!
I'd probably shoot my parents to minimise the damage they could cause me in my formative years!......Oh and I wouldn't have missed that oppertunity with Janie Sommerville when I was 28! Talk about misreading the signals!
