We actually have a fairly good new kebab shop here in Shannon. I'm not too keen on Abrekebabra though. Glasgow has good chippies but the best ones are owned and run by Italians.
We have a place in Limerick called chicken hut that's much nicer than KFC with the nicest chicken gravy on the chips. But you're I right. I'm sure Kentucky Fried Chicken was much nicer back in the 70s and 80s.
Perhaps he was getting too close and that frightened you. I must say the love and good will on this thread is overpowering. No wonder nobody is hooking up.
The show certainly lacks something this year apart from Cowell. It's a bit bland for my tastes. The last couple of years I couldn't wait for Saturday, the couch, the tv and the laptop! This year I find myself chanel hopping.
I am on a monthly budget plan and they have just raised it from €54 to €87 per month. So basically it seem that I am using about €77 per month in electricity. I'm single and live alone. I don't have electric heating but I do have an electric immersion which is on for half an hour per day.
Can someone tell me if this is excessive? How much does everybody else pay per month?
They put me in mind of the Green Party during the last government. No integrity, feather your own nest and sell every principle you stand for to stay in power. Will we ever see men (or women for that matter) of integrity in politics?
RE: The Taoiseachs address to the nation.
Business as usual. Giving his cronies pay rises while the rest of us have to suffer austerity. Charlie Haughey comes to mind.
