Totally agree with you here. There was near enough full employment here during the boom years. I keep hearing David Harvey on 4FM doing the same thing and having a go at the benefit recipients. It's all more of the same to me. You have a rightly angry population who are actually furious with politicians of all parties with their selfishness, their lies and the complete disregard for the health and the fortune of their own people; you take that anger and you redirect it so it's the public service against the private and everyone against the unemployed. As long as we're all attacking each other through a feeling of powerlessness, they, our supposed leaders, are looking after themselves and turning us into good Europeans.
Until, we grow some balls, stop whinging and take action, we are in for years of the same.
I guess it's easier to insult people who dare to contradict you than explain an out of date system the beliefs that leads to dead children. I'd say the greatest enemy of the USA is some of its citizens.
Nice to see that a thread designed to show care and compassion towards dead school children and their families has been hijaked by neanderthals to advance their causes. You'd think a scout leader would know better.
I think all western governments have arms, vehicles and contingency plans in case of revolution and there will be a list of people for immediate imprisonment without trial. I've noticed over the last 30 years or so at football games, there are vans equipped with protection for crowd control. These weren't fabricated the day before like the A team. And during the miner's strike in Thatcher's Britain protected buses were available to break through the picket lines. Like I said, these guys are prepared. I think any revolution will be stamped on very quickly.
1. Loophead, Kilbaha and the cliffs at Kilkee. All next to each other.(Forget the Cliffs of Mohar, they've ruined them and are only properly visible by boat).
2. The Burren including the Dolmen, the Ailwee Caves and Father Ted's house.
3. The Willie Clancy week or the world's largest singles festival in Lisdoonvarna.
I have invented such a device. Transfer €100 million into my Bank of Nigeria account immediately and I shall post your redemption machine out in the morning.
(Off to change my profile status to multi billionaire)
It's simple free market economics which the USA has always championed. I wonder how many of the people who share these sentiments bought Japanese cars and electronic goods in the past.
Hon, I hate to put you right here but this isn't Elvis singing 'Lonely This Christmas.' Somebody's labelled it wrong and probably with the best of intentions. It's MUD. That's the late Les Gray singing.
