The dial is actually on the boiler but between zero and 1 is too low. If yer man knows his own boiler, it's a 2 minute fix and will cost him nothing.

Sorry..that tap is usually hidden behind the panel seperate from the boiler.

Do you have a combi boiler on your wall. On it is a dial. That dial should sit at about 1.5 bar when the system is not in use. If it is not, you need to find the tap that supplies it and gently turn it on till the dial goes to 1.5. Normally, there is a little panel on the wall under the boiler but on one occasion, the builder / plumber in the house of a friend of mine, managed to put it in the attic so it's a 2 man job to do what one person would normally do in 10 seconds.

CHECK THIS BEFORE YOU BLEED THE RADIATORS AS BLEEDING WILL REDUCE THE PRESSURE STILL FURTHER! It will need to be done after bleeding anyway.

I just think that humanity is now in a state of flux. The size of the world effectively shrunk in the last century due to air transport. I think trying to legislate against it, would be like trying to turn back the tide.

How do you define success though. There are plenty of miserable well heeled folk out there. Many people such as Bill Cullen I believe, have made their wealth to compensate for personal insecurity. Having become wealthy, they then worry about losing it.

I mentioned some of this in the the 4th post on this thread but sadly the O/P just closes his mind to facts that do not fit in with his preconceived ideas. Obviously the fact that you live in China gives you no factual knowledge whatsoever. I would be delighted to see Tibet as independant and the Dali Lama return home but facts are facts. That is why I said it is not straight forward as to class this as an occupation.

Seriously though , either I had been at school with them or worked beside them or we were friends first and it just developed. I even met some in the Venture Scouts more than half a lifetime ago.
