RE: Dinner Date

Variety is the spice of life so I can offer Heinz or Batchelor's Baked Beans on either white or wholegrain toast with a choice of either fine white or ground black pepper.

RE: Single parent family payment been reduced to the age of 7 for the youngest child

I just find it odd that yet again those in power have us fighting with each other just like we did over the public / private sector debate whilst not a single banker was prosecuted and continued to receive bonuses and politicians awarded themselves huge pensions.

Only today I've discovered that Government ministers are claiming mortgage tax relief on second homes inspite of Enda Kenny stating 2 years ago that this was wrong and that when put in government he would put a stop to it.

So it's business as usual. Screw the welfare for all you can get. Our leaders are doing exactly that. conversing

RE: If you could turn back time ----- !

OK....my experiences have made me who I am and without mistakes, a lot of the good things would never have happened....but....I would have done Jackie and Mandy in the college residence in Paisley, Fiona, Janie in Glasgow and Yvonne and Lesley at the same time in the nurses home in Edinburgh! It happens the other way too. During the 1980s, Thatcher used subsidised Australian coal to finish the UK mining industry devastating communities and puting thousands out of work. conversing

RE: Mathematics Question

You can't divide any number by zero. The answer is mathematically undefined. Even dividing a rational number by zero gives a solution that tends to infinity. professor

This One For The Guys....Electric Razors ????

Can somebody give me the make and model of a reasonable electric razor?

I've always used wet shaves as I find it cleaner and closer but I have soft skin and in the winter I can be prone to cuts which never stop bleeding and are re-opened every day when I shave. So I reckon it's time to try one of these new fangled 20th century things but I want one that will give me a good shave at a reasonable price. Is the three heade3d one better than the big square headed one and all that? Once I buy it, I'm stuck with it. sigh

RE: Rejection

I know you're right here but I seem to take it very personally. In the last week, a girl who I got on very well with, said she would go on a date with me and seemed happy enough about it. That was on Sunday. Since then she will not answer my texts or my calls. This has happened to me more than once, including with people on here I once regarded as friends and who I have tried to meet as friends. It's actually happened so often that I end up blaming myself but I can't help but find that Irish girls are a bit odd. They are full on with you and then when you try to take it to the next step, they run away. In Scotland we call them something with the initials P.T.
