You didn't liberate Britain though you have gone out your way to write Britain's involvement out of WW2. You were 2 years late in entering the war and we only finished repaying the debt a few years back. Prior to 1941, you were selling arms to both sides including the Japanese. Both Ford and General Motors maintained plants in Germany throughout the war and both companies had to be compensated when the RAF bombed them. And had not not been for the battle of Britain before your arrival, the breaking of the Enigma codes by Alan Turin and the rest at Bletchley Park (though the US tried to claim that too), The Invention of Radar which we handed you and which you were too stupid to read at Pearl Harbor and the Royal Navy which dwarfed both your own and the German's.........there would have been no war for you to join.

Let's remember why you went to war.....Pearl Harbor. The same kneejerk reaction as 9/11. The US has never followed any policy other than self interest.

Historically, it is the victor who writes the history and dictates the justice. I wonder who would have hanged at Nuremberg had the outcome of WW2 been the other way. There may be a case to answer but Amnesty International are deluding themselves if they think Canada are going to be drawn into this legal and political maelstrom.

I always had a wee thing for her and felt sorry for her when she was going through her troubles with drugs and money. But recently I saw her on Big Brother and I lost all interest. She's become as real as the rest of us I'm afraid with all the flaws to match. But fair play to her for not thinking she's too good for meeting Joe Average on the net.

I think you're reading too much into it. Perhaps his phone died or he ran out of credit. I'd go ahead with the meet and if he doesn't turn up, put it down to experience and tell yourself it's his loss which it would be. You're certainly pretty enough, gentle enough and sensitive enough from what I see on here.

I do hope it works out for you.

In the last couple of hours, the back of my hand has become itchy. Now I have 2 soft blister like lumps, either side of my middle finger where it meets my hand. It's not sore but very itchy.

Does anybody have any idea what it is?

I'd have sympathy but 2 of the posters on this thread are pre-occupied with attacking Muslims any way they can and find this poor woman's suffering a convenient tool to promote their own bigotry. I never see either of them posting on breaches of human rights in Christian or dare I say it, Jewish states.

I was in the weight loss group and we had one other closed group at a time when we were plagued by Trolls who were running half a dozen profiles at the same time and getting regular members banned by provoking them in abusive threads. So someone set up a private group to prevent people from leaving. It was a shame since at the time, new members were treated with total mistrust.
