It's only one version and you will find the Chinese argument on Wikipedia too if you wish to take it as gospel. I'm not taking sides one way or another. I'm just saying it's an issue for International Law and it's over simplistic to look on it as an occupation.
But on account, China now owns us all, I don't see anyone in the west standing up to them any time soon.
The argument is not that clear. China has ruled Tibet since the 14th century with the exception of a brief 38 year period and that was not universally recognised as it stemmed from a British invasion of Tibet. China rules many such states which have their own ethnic minorities.
There is certainly a case for independence but it is a case for international law and it's much too simplistic to accuse China of occupying that territory.
Being different just for the sake of being different is a pointless a twisted lonely road. Equally, following the herd blindly and following the fad or fashion of the day, then you are really rudderless and drifting at the whims of others.
'To Thine Own Self Be True,' seems to be the best mantra combined with, 'How Important Is It." Trying to please everybody is an impossibility and you end up suiting no one. People will always be at conflict but at least if you learn just to be yourself, then at least one person will be happy.... namely YOU! Takes courage though.
I'd be more worried about some of my own relatives and their vested interests in hurrying me along my path.
Seriously though, I have met amoral people in my life who would manipulate you into this decision for their own ends whilst convincing you they were doing you a huge favour. I don't really want to deny anybody the right to die but as the thin end of the wedge, it opens some quite frightening questions for me such as would this end in private or state run life termination centres.
But by that philosophy, you would never visit a doctor. You'd die of the first potentially terminal illness as the doctor would only be interfering with the will of the creator. I'm afraid, the argument has to cut both ways.
There should be more folk like Harry. He's a fine lad obviously with his mother's charisma. Remember the effort he went to to try to serve in the British Army besides his buddies in Iraq despite being labeled a target. I seem to remember George W. doing the opposite.
Hi Simon...I mean R....Well aware that we're heading into Christmas, the cold dark nights and the X factor finals. The Irish forums are poor enough too at the moment. Perhaps we should consider the UK site holding the CS X factor thread this year since ye did so well with the Olympics.
CS used to have great meets too but sadly nowadays are very poorly attended, if at all. The truth is what was a singles site has been hijacked and taken down a very destructive and hostile road. I remember when my first instinct was to welcome the newcomer. Now my first instinct is, that they're probably a troll on yet another profile so I'll let them off. I tend only to talk to folk with whom I have some kind of history. It's sad really.
It's odd looking back, just how limited our teachers were in their reports. I think everyone got, "Could try harder." I must confess though to being a bit of a magpie. I have trouble throwing things out.
