I suspect most people on here mistake God for Santa Clause. We make demands and He or She is immediately meant to implement them. Try that with your boss at work and see how far you get.
Having placed these demands on the supreme being and creator one of the following 2 conclusions is usually reached:
Either
1. God is not answering my prayers.
or
2. God does not exist because he is not meeting my demands.
Here is a third option:
God answers all prayers but sometimes He or She says 'NO!'
Firstly, the girl has already posted that they were in the process of a divorce so without investigation, you would have added to their grief.
Secondly, this would be what used to be known as a poisoned pen letter. I assume you come from a small town because that's the type of mentality you have. Let's spread venom but not take responsibility for our actions. I have seen people hounded out of towns because of cowards like you. I'm sure some have been driven to suicide by this sort of behaviour.
Creeps hide in dark places and there is only one doing that on here.
Not a bother. Used to be a Simple Minds fan myself way back in the 80s. Infact, before they were famous, a reel to reel tape was played to me and I thought they were crap. My pals brother Matt Dunn was one of the roadies and we used to get free tickets. Jim Kerr was raised in a cooncil hoose as we say in Glasgow and went on to become a multi millionaire. I was raised in a posh place 3 miles from him and now I drive a taxi.
I used to talk to him on facebook. I wonder if he's good for a couple of quid.
I was about to mention Ireland, the reformation (and the need for that reformation) or the very reason the Pilgrim Fathers had to land on Plymouth Rock in the first place.
This is simply what human beings do to other human beings.
You've been hit twice in your country's short history and you cry like a girl. Neither 9/11 nor Pearl Harbor could come close to what's happened in Europe in the last three centuries. Grow Up!
The end of the world is postponed. I've just made a huge pot of Scotch Broth and it's not going to waste. I have spoken to God about this and he's fine with it.
I thought I had you. I thought it was an adjective but it's a noun so you can have a plural by sticking an S on the end. I stand corrected...by Google.
At least you're following the original Pagan tradition. This so called Christian festival is never mentioned in the bible and did not appear till a thousand years after Christ. Oddly enough, in Ireland, Brigid is the only saint celebrated in both traditions, hence the St Brigid's cross. There was a time before the introduction of Roman Catholocism, there was a combination of Paganism and Catholocism practised. This was known as Celtic Catholocism.
Now Britain's Senior Roman Catholic Cardinal Has Resigned.
Seems the Catholic Church is disintegrating in front of us. Thoughts please.
