Catch 22 is the price of life we all pay. As soon as we appreciate that life itself is a precious gift, we realise that one day we will have to face death. As they sing in Life of Brian....Remember that the last laugh is on you.
I have known people in their seventies with the outlook and energy of a teenager and vice versa. Some people just have a youthful spirit regardless of age. Others were born old.
So no, age is not at all important in everyday life and friendships for me anyway.
I was thinking that too. In those days the Brits tended to side with the Arab nations due to oil interests which caused some friction with the USA who tended to side with Israel.
That's it. You come around here declaring your undying love convincing me to sleep with you and then pretend you don't know me..... or was I dreaming again?
That's exactly why I believe Germany will never allow the Euro to fail. They will never get all the money back that they lent out but every cent will be fought for.
I think, just like real life, you have to separate the wheat from the chaff in here too. The internet, and especially sites like this, do not lend themselves to honesty.
Never, in the field of human housework, has so much been owed by so many to so few.
We shall go on to the end, we shall Dyson in France, we shall Dyson on the seas and oceans, we shall Dyson with growing confidence and growing strength in the air, we shall defend our Island, whatever the cost may be, we shall Dyson on the beaches, we shall Dyson on the landing grounds, we shall Dyson in the fields and in the streets, we shall Dyson in the hills; we shall never surrender
I think you need to stop persecuting yourself. If you have this syndrome and if you have heart problems, you should be looking at yourself with compassion and not anger. You need help to deal with the bullying in your past so I suggest you talk to your doctor about getting some counselling. Nobody is going to have a relationship with you until you have one with yourself. Your negativity is a self fulfilling prophecy. Trust me bud, I've been there. You can't sort this on your own.
Waterford, Wexford, Adare, Ennis, Galway, Cork (City and county, (Don't forget to kiss the Blarney Stone), particularly West Cork.....Bantry, Clonakilty etc.) Bunratty is worth an overnight stay to visit the folk park and to have some porter in Durty Nellies in the shadow of Bunratty Castle and possibly a visit to the medievil banquet. This is ideal if you're either flying in or out through Shannon. The Cliffs of Mohar have been ruined with a visitors centre, so I suggest you check out the cliffs at the back of Kilkee leading around to Loophead and Kilbaha and Carrigaholt here in County Clare at the mouth of the River Shannon. These are unspoiled and natural.
I'm not Irish but it really is a beautiful country with very friendly people on the whole. I do hope you enjoy yourself.
RE: Afghanistan the Graveyard of Supper Powers
Make up your mind. In the thread title you say supper and now you're saying breakfast. Which is it?
