Certainly in my day, suspension was a biggie as a punishment sort of the last step before expulsion. But nowadays, I don't suppose they have many alternatives but 2 days off hardly seems like a punishment. A double detention copying 1st Corinthians from the bible would be much harsher.
Not making light of MS but there's just something about cancer that makes me think that it's bad living that causes it whereas MS can be contracted by anyone.
I hasten to add that I have absolutely no medical or physiological training!
I've been on my own for so long I don't think I want a relationship anymore! I'm fine talking to women on the net but in real life I get nervous and tongue tied!
I'd say the estimates others gave here would be fairly reliable. What happens with reconditioning is that you take your old one in and they give you a replacement already reconditioned. I'm guessing around €50 for the part.
Personally, if you know someone who'll fit it for you, I'd take the scrap yard option. If there's a fault, they're usually happy enough to give you another one.
Well, with the car insurance check out 123.ie. They seem to beat everybody hands down. And get someone else to check that boiler incase it can be repairerd. I find it strange they have to change the entire boiler.
It could be an Ireland only thing but there certainly seems to be a problem with the page. It tells me that 40 people like it but gives me no option to do the same.
Just checked ebay hon but you didn't give me the model or engine size. But for some reason the prices shoot up for 1997. Check for motor factors in your area and see if they do a reconditioned exchange unit for a reasonable price. DO NOT GO TO OPEL FOR THE PART UNDER ANY CONDITION!
If the motor factors are still too dear, then for a 14 year old car, I'd be considering a scrapyard! If you lived closer, I'd fit it for you myself!
I only like fish in it's natural state....deep fried in batter the way God created it! And I hate tomatoes! They are the fruit of evil. Masquerading as a vegetable and looking delicious...but deceptively bitter. They look like they should slice...but no, they squash and squish. They destroy sandwiches with their latent moisture! Devil's fruit as I say! Beware the killer tomatoes!
A few years back I had an adenoma (medical words ending in oma aren't good.....like carcinoma) removed from my intestine as it was causing me severe discomfort.
It was weeks later my own GP said it wasn't malignant! I didn't even know they were looking for cancer. Scared me a bit.
But there's something about the word cancer that sounds dirty and ugly and that it would be my own fault if I got it! Some how MS, aneurism or heart disease or the like sound much more acceptable!
Too late for this as has been said but it's a fair point. We discuss suicide often enough but why does it happen in Ireland and Japan more than anywhere else? Are we physiologically different or are we wrongly conditioned in our formative years leaving us as ticking time bombs? Are we setting the bar so high for our kids, that they can't help but fail?
It's one of the problems with all the ele4ctrical sensors nowadays. I've got a dodgy injector in my Mondeo and when the fuel pressure drops a little, the damned thing turns off the fuel pump. I need to switch off the ignition and then restart it to reset it. Some times 4 or 5 times in as many minutes.
I did have a petrol Vectra that used to stop for what appeared no reason. You'd leave it 20 minutes and it would start again. Turned out to be a fuel filter...which cost all of €6 to replace!
It's a ten minute, 2 spanner job and common enough. It's the kind of job you could almost do yourself! It would be very unusual for the fanbelt to snap just at exactly the same time as the alternator gave up the ghost!
Well, I am not post menopausal but I was waking up worried at 3 in the morning. I have found a solution though! Since the clocks changed, I now wake up at 4 in the morning!
RE: school punishments.
Depends just who he hit with the stink bomb!Certainly in my day, suspension was a biggie as a punishment sort of the last step before expulsion.
