Well, I think dumping her by text is disgraceful. Far better to dump her in a chatroom or on FB so everyone can get a laugh at her being humiliated!

I think it's hard in this day and age to stay married. People end up wanting different things out of life and then growing apart with frustration that can so easily turn into contempt.

I used to be a romantic myself but life sort of knocked that one out of me!

I never said anything of the sort. You have pre conceived notions of what forces are and aren't in play and a childhood vision of God which someone has forced on you.That's the closed mind that keeps us in ignorance!

As I said earlier, it may not be a Christian God but you will learn nothing till you become teachable and life will teach you if you allow it.

The least spiritual people I know have strong religeous convictions. They are unable or unwilling to think outside of the dogma and cannot open their minds.

Oh...and without the sun up in the sky, the regulation of the moon and the protective qualities of the earth, we would all be dead since you mentioned it. But of course, all that happened by cosmic accident.

You said you don't believe in things you cannot see. I simply replied to that. Do things only start to exist when man discovers it? Was America just a big black hole before Columbus? There have been radio waves since the dawn of time, and magnetism and gravity. Before Newton discovered gravity, did everything float?

So just because we haven't experienced something, it doesn't prove non existance. The rational belief for an open mind would be agnosticism. You will never learn anything due to your closed mind and reliance on knowledge pre authenticated by others.

So you don't believe in air, electrons, radio waves, emotions or heat energy.

Without air we would suffocate.
Without electron flow you wouldn't be reading this.
Without radio waves, there would be no EM communication.
Without emotions we would be robots.
Without heat energy we would freeze.


Every day we put our trust and expectations in things we can't see. Why do we judge our gods by a higher standard? Fear I suspect....but we can't see that either.

Ah Audioline....I had an audioline sound exploder the upped the power to 12 watts and distorted the sound beyond recognition.

You can laugh at the sunstrips but it took me months to notice that my name wasn't Darren and that my girlfriend was cheating on me!

Much easier to drop the gearbox and do a clutch. I once put a Vauxhall Viva HB up on its side on a mattress to drop the box!

And having music in the car for the first time. Cutting holes in either the door cards or the back parcel shelf for 8 watt RMS 4 ohm stereo. And if you were posh, you had a cassette deck with auto reverse.

But I do remember having Dark Side of The Moon on 8 track and a device that allowed the 8 track to play cassettes!

Liked the triumphs too though they had about 30 nuts and bolts, not set screws, connecting the engine to the gearbox. And yes, the old knackered spanners some of which were AF and some which were Whitworth...whatever that was!

Wicca and Paganism were only labeled as evil by Christianity which was trying to promote its own brand at the time. Sadly this has stuck. The concept of evil does not exist in witchcraft and belief in these older teachings are no more or less rational than believing in the mysticism of a man whe was executed in a far away desert land 2,000 years ago.

I've mailed JLM. I had a Vectra which gave similar probs and took a year to get to the bottom of! An 8 euro fuel filter solved the problem. When I took the old one out, you couldn't even blow through it! It's quite a common Vauxhall/Opel fault in cars that age. (Of course you are meant to change it every 20k miles! )

In Ireland the situation is so bad that there's no point in reposession. There are so many empty houses and ghost housing estates that the banks could not sell the houses they reposess.

All the dodgy documentation was done here too. House prices are expected to drop another 35% over the next 2 years. They are already at least 40% down from their peak. But nobody is actually prepared to say what the average house price is. Nobody knows.

At some point they will have to demolish thousands of brand new unused homes to stop the freefall in the market.

There's a sort of feeling of unreality all around the place like we just can't grasp what's happened. We all get up and live through another day because it's what we've always done.

I've been waiting 2 years for a hospital appointment. My consultant has written to them. My GP has both written to them and phoned them on several occaisions. Toady I phoned them and was promised they would return my call. I'm still waiting.

I really don't know what to do from here.
