Ourselves. How can we possibly meet the needs of another person until we are able to fulfil our own. How would we know what to do? Loving others first sounds very noble and very romantic but it's extremely unhealthy. Co-dpendancy 101. :)
Jaysus, if you can't have a choice of music at your own funeral, when can you. Bad enough being powerless in life without having your wishes ignored in death. :-|
Still dreaming of travelling Australia by train... very expensive.... and of course my European train trip and one day the Orient Express. Maybe next year. At the moment, every penny is spoken for.
I could use the same argument for relocating the Australians, New Zealanders, the whites, blacks and hispanics of both the Americas..... back to Europe.
The Israeli's are not native to what people are calling their homeland. Ancient rights are non existent. This was a handy and politically correct way of winding up part of the British Empire. I'll bet there was a lot of hand washing following the Balfour Declaration.
I wonder how many people on here would be as pro Israeli, had they been evicted from their homes to create a new state which let's face it, is really part of the US. Unless of course, the bedrock under Tel Aviv is solid gold.
OK. Sorry to be morbid but I keep seeing this ad on UK television for the Cooperative Funeral Directors where people say which song they want played at their funeral. Now there is one muppet who says 'It would have to be 'My Way.'' I figure anyone choosing that song, didn't have the capacity to do it their way.
What song would you choose for your funeral given the choice?
