I truly believe when you harbor anger and resentment which is the makings of revenge you hurt yourself. It is a waste of time. To say I never have wanted revenge would be a lie. The truth is every now and then someone does something to me and I think to myself what I would like to do to that person. Does that make me a bad person? Some say you are guilty of your thoughts. If so I am in deep trouble in life 
I think it is my actions that speak the loudest

I think it is all a matter of weighing how important is it to you? You hurt my family I will hunt you like a dog....is an example of what is most important to some. Sometimes it's worth it.

yes I think so - times when rectification is necessary to make thing right but not revenge - usually revenge backfires on a person - the original evil deed doer will get their comeuppence soon enough. At least by avoiding revenge your hands are not sullied.

Revenge is such a petty thing. Most issues that people feel the need for revenge are usually quite inept. More often than not, nothing said or done reveals a far better message. JMO

Revenge nope, getting records stright yes, that need do arise on occation.
But even that i can often drop as long as not others jump on the famous bandwagon left there by the unfair person i had a beef with to begin with. THEN records could be copied up and nailed to the wall.
All in all forgiveness is a good thing, but don't always expect to be applauded on it. Do it anyway.
