The narrow road may mean there are NOT many options concerning how life should be led according to religious dogma. The only option is to live as God wants us to live...and those examples of how life should be lived are in the religious texts of that particular faith.
Thanks for taking the time to post the poem. The forums need all the positive posts it can get. Vicki is very good at that. Your graphic is really cool!
Lots of liars, lots of good people. The toughest part is making judgements about people's character without the benefit of seeing them in person, testimonials from their friends and loved ones. Actions speak and mean everything to me and words are just words. And after all of that, people can still turn on you and lie! But that is the roll of the dice we all choose to take...and ain't it fun sometimes!!
I am not a deply religious person, but I have a strong belief in God.
I have never heard these words before myself, but my interpretation is there is only very few paths to eternal life..the main path is through a belief in God.
He is pathetic. But, how long were you dating? Was is 2 dates? If so, e-mail might be OK. It's better than just dropping you with no contact at all. But if your relationship was involved, then he is a coward. Sorry for your pain.
I know what happened to Misty and why. If you want to know please e-mail me. I am not sure if the moderators would allow me to post it in the thread. Thanks.
I admit that I look away. My peers never had tatoos or weird haircuts (but my hair looks weird anyway I cut it), so I don't understand it. I guess I am a little intimidated by my ignorance, and that is why I look away. I have a friend in a wheelchair and before he was injured, I looked away from other handicapped people. But since I have seen and learned about my friend, I have no problem with interacting with other handicapped people.
RE: Small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life...
