RE: Whats your favourite tipple on a night out

My friend lives down the "country" and whenever I visit him we go to his local. I was amazed most women in there drank Tia Maria and Milk. I had never heard of it before then! I tasted it but it was far too sweet for my liking.

RE: Whats your favourite tipple on a night out

Bulmers all the way if I'm drinking. Maybe a vodka and 7up if I get full at the end of the night.

But most nights out I don't drink. If I'm in a restaurant I have water and tea or in a pub I'll have a few diet 7ups.

Irish people being held in Cairo hypocrites?

Something tells me these folk didn't fit into that category. I think they enjoy all the freedoms they have in Ireland and the opportunities for them, but they protest in favour of Sharia law in another country.

Absolute hypocrites. They can just jump on a plane back to Ireland while others have to live under those draconian laws.

Irish people being held in Cairo hypocrites?

HC has the intellect of a lab rat. laugh I wouldn't worry about any opinions he has on anything.handshake

Irish people being held in Cairo hypocrites?

I have no prob with them being called Irish as long as they have Irish passports. I just think they are hypocrites for protesting in favour of the Muslim Brotherhood when they live in a non Sharia law country.dunno

RE: Britain and France to intervene with airstrikes against Syria regime.

Well if it is the plan I would be worried. They could not take care of Iraq and Afghanistan so I don't fancy their chances against Syria and Iran. laugh

RE: confessions of sins

And who pays for that fund? The insurance companies pay into that fund and they in turn get the money from us people who pay for insurance. The state doesn't pay anything into it!roll eyes
You just contact MIBI and start the process. Takes a long long time though and is far more work than a normal claim.

RE: forums

Seems all the men in the BBC in the 70's were up to it. Lock em all up and throw away the key.

RE: forums

They got 30k worth of booze!

The Dub cops do the rounds at Crimbo...pick up free booze from pubs in their area..and if you don't give it to them they are in at closing time every night chucking people out and wont come if there is trouble in the pub.mumbling

RE: forums

No Supermacs in Dublin.,....they use local chippers and never pay either,,,,,they pick up their crates of booze from the local pubs too.

RE: forums

The TV and Chip shops and pretty much the same around every area.laugh

RE: forums

There are. And when they heada-ballskick off the Garda take an hour to get there to make sure they miss most of the trouble...and any really dangerous people are arrested by the armed response unit.

Most shift by Garda involves eating chips, filling out forms and watching the telly.

RE: forums

I wouldn't trust them with a water pistol.

RE: forums

WS did it on........and HC did it on........

They were similar and happened in a similar period. But HC did do it.

RE: forums

It's not dangerous really. More people die on farms and building sites every year than Garda on duty. That is very very rare.

Handy oul number really if you ask me.

RE: forums

Twas all over the news. Two high ranking officers fitted up some bloke in Donegal because they did not like the family. The same officers also planted arms and pretended to find them. Just Google it. Forget the families name but the Garda made their life hell....and not one person seen a prison cell except an innocent man.

RE: Any Bakers

Chocolate biscuit cake. Yum. Love it. Never had one made with Snickers though.

RE: confessions of sins

Means he is not really insured so if he hit you or a member of your family you all would be out of pocket. A god knows what would happen if he knocked someone down and seriously hurt them....who would pay them compo?

RE: forums
