RE: I am so tired of fictitious people in my mailbox

But you could be blocking your dream man from Nigeria or Pakistan. They have millions just waiting for you in a bank account and they will make you one of their many wives. heart1

What woman could turn down an offer like that!

RE: The British want out of Europe.

They will be OK in Ireland as Ireland and The UK have had a deal since before the EU or EEC came into being. We can move freely over there and they can do the same here.

It may really effect their foreign trade though as EU countries do business quicker with other EU Countries. No import duties to worry about. Also a lot of financial companies based in London may move their base as the UK being in the EU is one of the main reason they have their European operations there. dunno

But it's completely up to the people of the UK to decide what they want.

6 inch heels for the bedroom....3 inch for the kitchen. You have to be able to reach the top shelves somehow. laugh

RE: I am so tired of fictitious people in my mailbox

Ahh I'd let ya wear shoes. Those pots and pans can hurt if they drop on your toes.laugh

RE: I am so tired of fictitious people in my mailbox

Well if they are from Pakistan just tell them you like a drink, you don't cook or do ironing and you think open relationships are the way forward.laugh

RE: I am so tired of fictitious people in my mailbox

All I need is for you to hold 40 million dollars in your bank account for me and I'll pay you 20% when I get out of my country. My Dad is a King here and it's his money.
And all I need from you for this easy money is your banks address, bank account number and sort code. Your social insurance number and age, date of birth and address.

Is that too much to ask for my friend?rolling on the floor laughing

They always go something like that anyway.

RE: Can Of Worms:

There are certain traditions Irish kids go through in life that are important to them. Years ago they were all about religion but most of us now just think of them as tradition.

First holy communion being one. The little girl getting her dress and looking like a princess in it. Their little face lights up and then they have their little party afterwards. Also Easter, Christmas, Conformation and to name a few. If you tell them their is no god it spoils all that for them.

Let them mature and if they then start to doubt and ask questions let them make their own mind up. Until then they are just kids and let them enjoy being kids.

Jose arrived at Chelsea again today.

Should managers ever go back to the place were they were successful or should they leave the past in the past? He wont have Terry, Lampard, Ashley Cole for long and players like Joe Cole, Carvalho, Drogba and Ballack who loved him anymore.

When he arrived a Chelsea he brought success they never has before, now they have had league titles and Champions League titles will the modern player at Chelsea put up with hi style or will they fall out with him like Real and Inter players.dunno

I think Chelsea fans expect more of the same when he comes back....will it be that easy.

Because we all know he is a top class manager and he knows how to win....but Chelsea are not the team they were 7-8 years ago. They dont have all the same players and the fans have tasted success at the highest level.dunno

RE: Carb Cycling

Im off to the pub now to take in thousands of calories in food and drink.wave

RE: Carb Cycling

Big Mac = 550 Calories

4 mile walk burns at a brisk pace burn about 300-350 cals.

Thats the trap most people fall into. laugh

RE: Carb Cycling

laugh

I see a load of women in my gym who complain all the time they cant lose the weight. They do a workout which frankly doesn't kill them. They might burn 300 or 400 cals at most. Then they go next door and get a cup of fancy coffee full of cals and a slice of cake full of cals.

They would be better off staying at home and not having the coffee and cake as they would lose more weight.laugh

RE: who won the argument

Have you not got some woman to be attending to from the load you have on the go? Or are you meeting with Donald Trump today to discuss a few deals?laugh

RE: Carb Cycling

Exercise is very good but its only 30% and diet is 70%.

To put it in perspective for ya. You could run 10k in a day and that will burn about 800 cals. But if you then eat a doughnut and big chocolate bar afterwards that will be the 800 cals gone.

RE: Carb Cycling

Carbs are great for energy. They release energy slowly into the body. But they are harder to burn off. So 200 calories of carbs is harder to burn off than 200 calories of protein. It sounds weird but it's true.

If you eat a lot of carbs you should really be doing a lot of energy sapping activities. But cutting out carbs altogether is not good as when you start to eat them again the body piles on the weight.

The best thing is to cut out high carn foods like bread, potatoes and pasta and replace them with lower carb foots like brown rice and wraps.

RE: Carb Cycling

The only carb diet that works is cutting down on carbs forever. Swap white rice for brown rice, swap bread for wraps, eat other veg instead of potatoes and cut out pasta. Then it works. If you cycle your carbs or cut them out altogether then the body piles on the weight as soon as carbs are reintroduced.

RE: who won the argument

Suarez wants away from Liverpool.

RE: which would be the best holiday destination??

Cant say as I have never visited Rio. May do if Ireland qualify for the 2014 World Cup though!yay

I liked Barcelona better than Paris. Paris is very expensive and the French kept thinking I was British because I spoke English.

RE: Prime time

I was so shocked. I was reading all week about it so I thought I knew what was coming but I felt sick.

Screaming at babies who just want to play or a cuddle. Locking 18 month olds in a room alone because they were "bold". And the way that one woman threw babies around when she wanted them to sleep. She was so rough my heart went out to the poor kids. I hope the Garda brings charges.
Today I have gone from shock to anger!

RE: home or away

There are muggings and robberies everyday in Dublin too. I would not let that put me off. I am not going to Spain though. Have not been there in years. I did Ibiza about 5 years running back in the early to mid 90'slaugh

My hols are a far more placid affair now.cool

RE: home or away

Fair play to ya. I am heading abroad in September and heading away for a long weekend before that. I would not consider staying in Ireland. It's more expensive in the long term. I don't mind the airport if I'm honest. I check in online and hit the bar nearest my gate.grin

RE: Have we lost the drugs war?

Its not a war. It's too one sided for that.laugh

Governments have to stop running nanny states and telling citizans what drugs they can take (alcohol, nicotine) and what drugs the can't.

Legalise all drugs and let chemists supply them them to people who want them. Then you know they are safe, you cut out all the crime syndicate middle men and would reduce crime also as the drugs would be far cheaper.

Humans have always taken mind altering substances and always will. You could come across a village in the middle of the amazon cut off from the world and I bet they take some sort of drug! People will always take drugs so just let them if they want to.

Man climbing out window after being caught in bed with another mans wife! Funny!

I love the way he starts giving out to the crowd.laugh

RE: your epitaph

Spike Milligan has "I told you I was sick" on his headstone.laugh

But they had to have it put on in Irish as the grave yard did not want it on the gravestone.
