That's a shame! Kilkenny is always a good spot for heading out, small city, lots of pubs in a relatively small area. Different places for different age groups so you don't need to hang around the too young nubiles all night. Great place for birdwatching/oogling men is Left Bank, for everyone who's drunk and desperate Langtons front bar afterwards or Morrissey. Heading out with a group of friends so should be good fun.
Anything worth mentioning I'll fill you in tomorrow.

Another question, would you go with someone from here to a restaurant on the first date or just a drink (quicker getaway possible )?

I think whoever extended the invitation and choose the restaurant should pay for the bill. If there's a second date in a restaurant then I would pay or I would pay for a movie, drinks etc.

I wouldn't be comfortable with someone paying all the time, will make sure it's 50/50 but if someone is mean on a first date...

Be comfortable with yourself, that's the main thing. I wasn't very comfortable with my looks 7-8 years ago, ok did change some but in general it just doesn't bother me, I'm not perfect and I don't expect any guy to be perfect so
