My two best friends are both way more liberal than me. Do we care? No, only immature guys care about crap like that. If one wants to be a vegetarian and the other is a city girl who freaks at the sight of a wild animal, it makes me no difference, I love em, and they love me, we don't try to change each other. We'd for sure never fight about it.

I haven't taken anything you said personally, but then I don't take a lot that way unless it's said to me personally. In fact, I haven't noticed you saying anything all that rude and crude, not compared to a lot of others on here, just take it all in fun.

Just a suggestion, ya could get rid of the Liberace suit! (don't take it personally!)

Sooo, let me get this straight. It's ok for anyone to bash the US, it's not ok or us to stand up for it? And yeah, the world stood still when the towers fell, but did we get much if any help from any other countries? No, they just wanted to blame us for pissing off the terrorists and getting ourselves and their people killed. It's all our fault. Gimme a break, yeah, I got anger issues, when the rest of the world picks a fight with me. And who started this confrontation anyway? All we're doing is all we've ever done, stand up for ourselves and those who can't!

I agree with you Ken. If I want political debate (which I don't most of the time) I'll go to a political forum. I'm not going to discuss my personal beliefs here anymore than I would at a party or get-together at someone's house. If I knew everybody, and that I would be taken the right way, I would. But I'm not going to get in a debate with a total stranger over, say, the rightness or wrongness of the U.S. I resent those who come on here and put down everything and everyone, but I refuse to debate the issue with them, simply because I know my views would fall on deaf ears, you can't change a closed mind.

There are so many here who I like and repect, even if we do have different views. What I don't respect are those who are intolerant of any view other than their own, and have so little intellegence backing up their views that they have to resort to name-calling and personal attacks. And it is those threads which I have and will continue to avoid. That's a lot easier to do here than in real life, that's why coming here is such a break. I may not be able to avoid ignorance in real life, but I sure as heck can here!

I can tolerate anything but intolerance!
