Daniel,you know I care about you.However,when we help others,it's not to get a thanks.It's because it's the right thing to do,and you should feel good about it.Not something to do to be noticed or wrong reason.As for where do you turn?Well as I have done counseling,I have at times needed to let things out.I go to someone I trust and vent.Even Psychiatists see therapists at times.We all need to vent at some point.
if your talking about helping friends,then friends are there for you like you for them,part of definition of friend.
Be human and vent feelings you will feel better

Someone has to make a move.I don't often,but if I did apprroach a man and he was not interested,my self-esteem is good and I would not feel hurt or rejected.Hey I tried.His loss not mine.I rareley write 1st,butgetting more agressive on sites and it paid off,have been meeting some,I wrote 1st.Go for it.

Raymond,I was so concerned in beginning of this thread.Now came back and saw your feeling som better.Be careful taing our advice.As much as we akll mean well,not everyone has the answer.It is so different Major Depression and Enviromenal Depression,where you pull your self up,get moving etc.A chemical not being able to get through can only be cured with meds. and therapy.Find positive ways to deal with the sad and upsetting things in life.So glad you stayed in forum and that so many fellow membrs reached out to you.Some gave you great advice.Think you made some friends?Yippers bet you did. It taks stentghand courage to open up as you did.

Will say prayer,will concetrate on positve energy to you.Keep in threads.We will all want to know how you are.

Looks like I stand alone here.No,wouldn't and if I had whatever,no wouldn't ask him to.Marriage is not what many people have made itSupposeto be till death and I agree.I don't believe in divorce unless other commits a crime to you or whoever.I think it causes self fufilling prophocey.f you can't trust the other,don't get married.If you got $,then put some away before marriage and remember you have a will too.Just protect your kids.I am not material person and won't marry 1 who is.JMO

lola36 ,I have told the story on here where I dated a w/c bound man.He lef me for another woman.Wasn't long courtship but when we met,I saw beautiful smile and sparking eyes,a hapy positive person.We re only disabled if we choose the label.Good self-esteem attracts people and wanting to be treated like anyone else would with respect.
