Never give your email until your trust that person. Follow your instinct.
Not only they'll use your email for spam, they can also do a search on google and find more about you.
Especially if you have your name attached to it. They'll be able to find your previous posts on forums or

RE: Honestly!!!! How many of you believe in long distance Relationships?

I don't want to be pessimistic, but there are some hurdles. They depend on the people involved and their dedication, will and attachment to each other.
The biggest one in moving, in my opinion, would be language, immigration, family and finances. The other factors would be like any other relationship. Only that if it doesn't work, you will find yourself in another country. It is not impossible, but you better make sure that you are dealing with a nice person that will not leave you in the cold, so to speak.
Otherwise, you could be comfortably in your home, crying and blaming the world that you cannot find anyone near you. Some people have done it, so, not impossible.handshake

Thanks for the conversation Merri. I don't want to hijack this serious thread. I am counting my "blessing" that I'll make it out of here alive!

Merri, I agree with you it would be nice. But, elected Pope, he would have diplomatic immunity and knowing so he would die in in office to evade punishment.

RE: What will cause the fall of USA?

Centurion,

"I am here to meet the right lady"

I hope that they don't start reading your posts as they are permanent on CS. If they love an intolerant and narrow minded individuals, you'll will surely make the top of the list.

I don't feel insulted for your French comments, as an American, yes.
Many people from different countries have contributed to the ideals of the US. It only takes few people like you to soil these ideals and principals. I am not going to invoke history as you know it so well and it would be a waste of my time.
Your school teacher must have tried and failed in putting sense into you.
I don't know what is your ethnic origin, but avoid rattling the skeletons in your closet. It could be noisy.

I leave you to your miserable thoughts of hatred and still wish you luck with the ladies. More so to the poor unsuspecting lady.

You can reply if you have time to waste, but I will no longer give you the satisfaction of reading your rantings.

RE: What will cause the fall of USA?

Hi Guzman, handshake

I can understand that it is easy to be on the defensive as the US is sometime blamed for all the ills of the world.

Slinging insults at other nationalities doesn't solve anything. If you have a problem with someone, better do it on a personal level.
cheers

RE: What will cause the fall of USA?

"Hell you guys make the French look like Rambo! LoL!"

Hi Centurion, handshake

Thank you very much for letting the world know about the mighty capabilities of the French. It is about time! grin
Would have I done it, the CS community would have not believed me. shock

Seriously, I don't think that this is the place to insult other nationalities. There is enough hatred in the world and you give a bad representation of the US. You give the impression that everyone there is a bully trying to shove its idea down everyone's throat.
No point in slinging insults to make your point.

I am not trying to stop you, you'll do as you please anyway.

RE: "I love you" on the Internet

If you cannot trust someone, it is self evident what the answer is.
If he lack self-esteem, don't wait until he's getting older to try to get the attention of someone younger.
A question of respect in my opinion. I am sure Bill Clinton would have a different spin on the story, but I doubt that Hillary would agree. laugh

RE: The Pope Benedict XVI resigns

I may add another theory.

It could be that he suffers from a Parkinson or Alzheimer disease. His butler might have seen some of the Pope's entourage making decisions for him as he couldn't.
The butler most likely did see a power struggles and a policy of silence being meted in the p*dophile scandals.
The Pope realized that he could no longer fulfill the duty of his position and thought to leave it to a younger and healthier person.

It doesn't mean that the policies of the Catholic Church will change. Only the leader. handshake

RE: Israel is again killing arround.

Hi Ray, handshake

I respect your opinion and we could talk about this subject for ever without changing the madness in the world.

But, don't go hiking in the Sahel without a target painted on your back. You could loose your head over this.
They love Americans, even though they didn't hear about the creation of Al Qaeda by the US. grin

Israel cannot justify the grab for land, I agree with that. But from there to say that Hamas is a creation of the Israelis, I doubt it.
They were dully elected in part by the Palestinian people, not the Israelis.

cheers

RE: Israel is again killing arround.

Don't ask me to feel bad for Hamas. They have sworn the destruction of Israel and refuse to recognize its existence.
Of course, it would be better to give more power to the Muslim Brotherhood. Egypt is already showing some good results and improvements with the human rights of its people, particularly its women.
The world doesn't have enough murderous fruitcakes, lets give them a home.
You might get support from the bleeding hearts and politically correct, but I abstain. I don't see Hamas feeding its people with the money coming in. In contrast, they sure know where to buy or get arms (Iran, Lebanon, Syria).
I empathize with the moderate population of Palestine as it is between the anvil and the hammer. I do not hate Muslims, only the controlling fanatic ones. Those who profess violence and control are not the Muslim that understand the Koran. They manipulate it and have a thirst for power, not for the good of humanity.
Take a look where Sharia law is established and the result of a fair justice. Maybe that doesn't speak loud enough for you? It couldn't happen there? Dream on!
There is a large population of Palestinians oversea and I doubt that they would go back there even if Palestine was a recognize county under Hamas. Look for the Association of Ramallah Palestine in the US.
Like a Palestinian minister said not long ago, "stop talking for us".
I do not condone Israel in the grab for territories and some violence. They have a right to live in peace too as I am sure that not everyone there is in support of violence.

By the way, in case you ask or think, I am not Israeli or Jewish!
But in my opinion, two wrong doesn't not make one right.

cheers

RE: Valentines Day / Date , are you excited?

Its only a matter of time, remain optimistic!

With the time that I have left, I better be optimistic.laugh

Wish you and everyone a Happy Valentine's day, regardless if you are with someone or not.

RE: 9/11 was an inside job, fabricated to justify an invasion of the middle east to obtain precious reso

This statement originated from an audio tape and it was published in foreign medias.
The voice was not authenticated by the CIA. I would think that if they had anything to do with this theory, they would have confirm the origin and the voice.

There is more proof on the theory of extinction of the Dodo bird than this theory.
Not that I disregard your right to search for the truth. thumbs up

Osama bin Laden statement:

"On May 23, 2006, an audio recording attributed to Osama bin Laden said in translation that Moussaoui "had no connection at all with September 11... I am the one in charge of the 19 brothers and I never assigned brother Zacarias to be with them in that mission... Since Zacarias Moussaoui was still learning to fly, he wasn't number 20 in the group, as your government claimed". The voice alleged to be bin Laden also suggested that Moussaoui's confession was "void" as it was a result of pressures applied during his incarceration."

RE: What is the best race to date besides caucasian

Hi Japtas, handshake

From your previous posts, you love controversial subjects.
In your last poll, you mentioned that you had a lot of people visiting and replying.
It reminds me of the old public hanging parties.
A lot a spectators and commentators, but the poor person who had to suffer its fate didn't appreciate it like you did.

You are free to say what you want, it is your choice.

As to the "race" poll, when you are 6 feet under, none rises above the others. Without going into philosophical, social, technological or historical arguments, we are equal.

Best of luck to you. cheers

PS: One think I did not appreciate is calling an esteemed member of CS "kaffer". very mad
She didn't have any choice in her origin, just like you. Everyone make the best with what they have. We are all dealt a hand of card in the game of life. We have to play it regardless.

RE: favorite alcohol drink ????

- Belgian Beer
- Vodka (Swedish, Finnish, French)
- Grappa
- Armagnac, traditional or White
- Cognac, aged one
- Old Scotch or Irish Whiskey, aged one
- Sake

Can't help, I like a good one once in a while. Not necessarily in that order. cheers

RE: China

I didn't want to say much about this subject as I don't want to generalize. innocent
It depends on the woman like everywhere else. It might had some truth 40 years ago.
Also from where she is from. Mainland (city or countryside) or Hong Kong.

Tom, I think I passed the "distinguished" years. I could be classified as the "As Is Antique". laugh
