A good relationship can help you grow and acts a base, a spring board from which one can reach and explore the whole world ...on the other hand .....i believe one must have a sense of self ..before one embarks on a relatiionship because one does not know what one will find.....i have had relats which have really helped me grow and others where the guy erodes yoru self esteem and transfers all his deficiences onto you ..basically blaming you for his shortcomings....so ultimately what is imp even if one finds the love of ones life is to work towards developing a strong sense of who one is .............when a relationship cant help you do that its time to jump ship....

Yes i commiserate with you alot ...internet dating can be very exhausting and frustrating ..you meet many people who lie .... guys who use it just to notch up dates...guys who only want one night stands..i have to be honest have not met anyone who i would want a long term relationship on here ...however i have made some good friends ....and hope springs internal..all i can tell you is you have to take many breaks and go out in the real world too and date there ...and use this as back up ..when you are at a loose end ...who knows ..the perfect women for you might be just round the corner ....

!!!!!!!!!!!!! this is an important issue in Europe today and should be discussed ...of course in the most rational and objective way possible...but undoubedly ..there has been a revival of religious fundamentalism globally and here include fundamentalista from the christian faith..this fundamentalism ..wherever it comes from may threaten secular culture in addition to this islam has not yet gone through a complete process of secularisation so there is that additional problem ........lets be honest here ..part of the difficulties that turkey is having with its eu membership application is because it is a muslim state.........

I therefore wanted to see what people here thought of the issue i thought it would be interesting especially to here from those individuals that are muslim.....i know you have lived in turkey...the parts i have been to in turkey..were extremely secular ...i dont know about the rest....


INT FORUMS -- are always being criticised but they have some good debated too.....its a breath of fresh air to see threads like summmers on family law ..and not just threads on Barrido diners !!!!!!!!!!

Hi All thanks for all the feedback but i think i have not explained myself properly ..what mystified me was not that people spoke to me LOL i know I am pretty scary but i come from Malta where people talk to you all the time ......

what mystified me is why english people would tell me on the one hand ..how they love europe and how beautiful they thought it was ..and that x has a house there and Y has a house there ...and yet on the other hand they would tell me oh the UK should leave the EU ......the UK should stop the EU and so on ....I mean how can you love europe so much and yet on the other hand not want to be part of it???

or maybe i am not seeing part of the equation

OK I am mystified can someone who understands the looney english race please explain ...so i was in london for a few days ...and while travelling on the trains people kept insisting on talking to me despite my unfriendly disposition anyway one conversation that kept coming up since they were talking to me a foreigner was ......how great and beautiful europe ....how england was going to the dogs .......and then listen to this the EU inevitably comes up and most say ..well we should leave ...or pull back ....etc ..now how do you make sense or reconcile those two statements cos i cant ..does this type of thinking make sense to you..or is it just me and i am missing something

thank you Imma i have never heard the word but you are right it does seem to encompass what one should do and it has a nice sound and you are right i know we are grateful that he is ok not one stratch and the car actually flipped over on its side ....it was a bit of a miracle..how are you?? hope you are fine?/ how is the non smoking going? and how is the food regime going? but dont you think that since lago started this trhead he should come and give us all great massages and cook us dinners and serve great wine lol
