No, seriously, B, I didn't see that coming at all...but I certainly should've.
I was just thinking the other day that federal funds should be available for addressing low self-esteem due to unfairly low photo ratings here on CS. My love and I would be the first to apply, I promise you!
But seriously, E, I think we should be more concerned about how such things damage or even mutilate our self-esteem.
I recall my own outrage when my love briefly posted a photo of herself, and after a spate of tens, some dastardly individuals utterly lacking in good taste and conscience actually dared to give her a "9." We're both still in therapy over that episode, and I just wish people would realize how much damage artificially low scores can cause!!
Oh, hell yes, Snuggie! Whenever milady will permit me (I carried to be last night, and I think it enhanced what "followed" - namely a good night's sleep for her).
Look, ladies, I think we should stop fighting with Ali about his claim that women are inferior in intelligence, because, as he has so often pointed out, this thread is not about fighting, but rather about women being more jealous than men!
And it's so annoying when you try to get a little bitty subsidy for yourself! This Spring I tried to get the government to pay me not to grow watermelons in my backyard, but they wouldn't go for it.
You could try paying him piecemeal - that is, paying for shipping each item one at a time, with a small bonus for him for his trouble for each shipment. That way he'd have a financial incentive to get it done. He sounds like someone who might appreciate a little extra money. Of course, that might only work until the last shipment, so save that for stuff you really don't care much about it.
<<WASHINGTON - The Obama administration insists it has no obligation to provide access to a top secret document in a wiretapping case, setting up a showdown next week with the judge who ordered it released.
Justice Department lawyers, in a response Friday with the U.S. District Court in San Francisco, also argued that Judge Vaughn Walker had no cause to penalize the government over its refusal to turn over the document.>>
Once again (sung to the Who's We Won't Get Fooled Again): "Meet the new boss, same as the old boss."
I differ from most people in that I don't think Obama's particularly bright. He may be smarter than Bush, but then so is my cat. He speaks in vague generalities and cliches mostly - almost never with any substance. And when he says something substantive - makes a promise about bringing home troops or avoiding bill passage with no one having time to read the bill, etc. - he almost always doesn't follow through.
Just because you've seen me in a dress and wig, M! How do you know T wouldn't be equally fetching in a skirt, high heels, a long, blond wig, and a baseball cap reading "The Chicago Cubs - It's What's for Dinner."
But who would be the "catcher," and who would be the "pitcher," Lushie? Knowing T's love of baseball, I'm both figuratively and literally rather afraid...
RE: cowardly low raters
They should be convicted for cruelty to animals, G! I don't know about your country, but here in the US, that's a serious offense!
