I don't know who Ashley Ponds is, but I am glad we now know. This man has 4 children, the youngest of which is 2 years younger than mine. I just thought he liked kids!
Jody said that there were probably 1 of 2 reasons why he told her. 1 - He didn't think she would tell me. And/Or 2 - he thought she would be receptive. Em said he could tell on her face how freaked out she was.
Let me tell you what happened! My neighbor - in his 30's - admitted to my 13 year old daughter that he had a bit of a crush on her and thought she was cute!
We're completely freaked out, so I called Jody and he calmed me down and helped me get my mind straight with it. He always has good advise and I've never appreciated it more than now. And he's pretty protective of Em too.
What is your favorite recent purchase that you've bought for yourself?
Me? I bought a new kitchen knife. It's a Santoku Knife, which is similar to a Chef's Knife, but a bit easier for me. It's 7 inches instead of 8 inches.
That's my favorite purchase recently. I bought it a couple of days ago.
That too - also with moles. But if you have any spot, whether its a freckle, mole, or just a small area of skin - that gets red and scaly, that's a good indicator.
Being outdoors with a permanent tan when you're growing up probably helps. I would always burn to a crisp at the beginning of summer and only a few times in my life have I really had a good tan.
I've always had freckles on my shoulders. Just keep a close eye on any spot that is red and scaly. If you find one, go to the doctor at once, sweetie. I can spot skin cancer on first glance now.
Last year, with all of the camping, I was darker than Em - which she'd never seen. I'm very pale. The other day she was telling me I needed to get a tan. I reminded her of the years my father went through having places of his body frozen or cut out because of skin cancer. I said I'm just fine being freakishly pale skinned.
RE: Randomly Post The First Thing That Pops Into Your Head Thread
Thanks, John. My daughter took it a little while ago on her phone.
