Ms J you should be able to see the AB even though the cloud is there, i have seen the AB from both the Hebrides as well as form Sundsvall sora in Norway. and both times was cloudy.
I doubt if there are rules for that. Most people take the hint when they get blasted but SOME dont. Maybe if one was to report them constantly to the mods they might get a nudge from them.
