[Verse 2] When the evening shadows and the stars appear And there is no one there to dry your tears I could hold you for a million years To make you feel my love
[Verse 3] I know you haven’t made your mind up yet But I would never do you wrong I’ve known it from the moment that we met No doubt in my mind where you belong
[Verse 4] I’d go hungry, I’d go black and blue I’d go crawling down the avenue There’s nothing that I wouldn’t do To make you feel my love
[Verse 5] The storms are raging on the rolling sea And on the highway of regret The winds of change are blowing wild and free You ain't seen nothing like me yet
[Verse 6] I could make you happy, make your dreams come true Nothing that I wouldn’t do Go to the ends of the earth for you To make you feel my love
Mama told me when I was young "Come sit beside me, my only son And listen closely to what I say And if you do this it'll help you some sunny day"
"Oh, take your time, don't live too fast Troubles will come and they will pass You'll find a woman and you'll find love And don't forget, son, there is someone up above"
"And be a simple kind of man Oh, be something you love and understand Baby be a simple kind of man Oh, won't you do this for me, son, if you can"
"Forget your lust for the rich man's gold All that you need is in your soul And you can do this, oh baby, if you try All that I want for you, my son, is to be satisfied"
"And be a simple kind of man Oh, be something you love and understand Baby be a simple kind of man Oh, won't you do this for me, son, if you can"
Oh yes, I will
"Boy, don't you worry, you'll find yourself Follow your heart and nothing else And you can do this, oh baby, if you try All that I want for you, my son, is to be satisfied"
"And be a simple kind of man Oh, be something you love and understand Baby be a simple kind of man Oh, won't you do this for me, son, if you can"
Baby, be a simple, be a simple man Oh, be something you love and understand Baby, be a simple kind of man
No I believe it's a selfless emotion. I have always believed the way any relationship can work is if you put your partners happiness a priority and vice versa....always checking in to see that they are happy....when they are sad, I am sad etc etc... I do believe in unconditional love...between a mother and her child....even though I don't have any I can imagine what that feels like....
Yup we know who the thick one is. Why don't you try type it on goggle..when the right spelling comes up just copy and paste............you know the drill by now
Two days past eighteen He was waiting for the bus in his army green Sat down in a booth in a cafe there Gave his order to a girl with a bow in her hair He's a little shy so she gives him a smile And he said, "Would you mind sittin' down for a while And talking to me? I'm feeling a little low." She said, "I'm off in an hour and I know where we can go."
So they went down and they sat on the pier He said I bet you got a boyfriend but I don't care I got no one to send a letter to Would you mind if I sent one back here to you
I cried Never gonna hold the hand of another guy Too young for him they told her Waitin' for the love of a travelin' soldier Our love will never end Waitin' for the soldier to come back again Never more to be alone when the letter said A soldier's coming home
So the letters came from an army camp In California then Vietnam And he told her of his heart It might be love and all of the things he was so scared of He said, "When it's getting kinda rough over here, I think of that day sittin' down at the pier. And I close my eyes and see your pretty smile. Don't worry but I won't be able to write for awhile."
One Friday night at a football game The Lord's Prayer said and the Anthem sang A man said, "Folks would you bow your heads For a list of local Vietnam dead." Crying all alone under the stands Was a piccolo player in the marching band And one name read but nobody really cared But a pretty little girl with a bow in her hair
