I don't even think about it. There's nothing I can do about it and those who keep spreading news about future catastrophe are the same ones who would talk about the end of the world approaching and Armageddon, but they cannot because they are atheists. Still - it's the same state of mind. People who simply like sensational news and horror stories and like to imagine the whole humanity dying screaming.
Ordinary people can do little to nothing. Protesting around and refusing to use plastic bags and then going on a journey by plane (while doing a lot more damage) is a little silly, truth to be told.
There are so many threads where men wonder about women and try to understand them (and fail ) and so few threads of women trying to understand man. That says a lot.
It seems to me that most people online want me to listen to them and admire them. They don't even ask ordinary questions about me and my life. It's all about them. What they want, what they desire, their past relationships... It's very exhausting.
Do you read online newspapers and magazines? Which ones are your favorite? Which ones give the best and most reliable info of the world and its affairs?
I stopped buying newspapers/magazines a long time ago and then - little by little - stopped reading them online, too. I don't watch TV and I've recently realized that I'm pretty much lost when the world around me is concerned.
The reason why I stopped reading newspapers/watching news was because they got overwhelming. I got tired of sensations and fake news. Then again, I think that I should be informed, at least a little, but not misinformed (at least not much).
So, what are your recommendations? Which online newspapers and magazines would you recommend?
I really really didn't want this year to be like this. I had so many great plans, but I realized so little... And failed at something that was very important to me.
This started to happen more and more online. You meet some nice person, you chat for a while, everything seems great and here he is suggesting that we would come to your country, he needs a place to stay, a free tourist guide, some romantic relationship can, but doesn't have to be an option and when you refuse - they move on. A lot of people like that on dating sites nowadays. Some are direct, but some are not. Some pretend that they are romantically interested in you and that they would come because of YOU, ONLY YOU. Be aware!
An interesting and a really refreshing person here!
Sometimes days and weeks pass until I log in again here and I do so only when I need some distraction or I'm very bored. I used to use social media much more in the past, but I don't any more. Even if I do - it's just for fun. I don't feel like getting involved into serious discussions with strangers online any more. It's pointless and very energy draining. Especially since people became very strange nowadays. They are all impatient, nervous, don't read other people's comments properly, you have to explain yourself over and over again, many just come to argue and fight. And they lie too much, so you always look a little like a fool for speaking the truth and being who you are while others keep lying and pretending that they are something better than what they are. It's like posting a photo online. You are a fool if you don't use filters and make yourself or your photo of ... (whatever) better than it really is. Too much faking all over the internet.
