RE: Share What You Are Listening To -- Part 99

Bunny, Wille Nelson said in the first sentence "a womans love goes deeper than the mans, into a place only she understands" I think it was
is that true in your experience? I often felt the mans love is just as strong or even too strong
for her to live up to, like he tends to put her in a pedestal too often almost, just curius your fist idea on that "off topp" (?). I mean the question seriously.

My myself could never get over my childhood love she 16 and me the same. Years later we met again
(she went hallelujha-christian so of that we parted ways) , and he said "you were the best" (of them)
but me on the other hand would have taken her hand there and then if i could....still...
She wasn't like the best (to me), she made all competition vanish in me heart.

RE: Gentleman

Well my guess is that his ex ran away with her former bf once that ex bf of hers finally got a divorce after a long unhappy relationship to a quite mean selfish no good wife. Him being now available she was tempted to reunite with him as he was her first love that she never really fully got over, so she ran out on youcannow. But again that is just my most qualified guess here on a Friday evening. drinking

RE: Gentleman

I will tell a short story here, short as I can make it.

I woman know now 57, mother of one who still live at home now 17,
dated a guy ca.2years ago, ended up selling her home and buy a house with him.
Now after two days... she packed her car, shuffed her daughter in and
just left. The guys proved to be an azzhole: broke her plants in two,
said she could stand for decoration but when she put one thing in one place she was told
harzly to move it to how he wanted it. Besides she could now just as well
sell her car she was told cos she was not going places any longer now,
she could be at home... why go out..

How was he earlier on is my question?
Was he a gentleman before who held doors open and drag the chair out too?
Must have been something that drew her to him initially.

RE: Gentleman

Being a gentleman is not for me. It may had a role in 1937. Not now.
There are no ladies any longer either so it's cool.

For the record though: I believe in love and I'm pretty romantic too.

RE: It is beginning to feel like the USA Autumn 1962

Point I was trying to make was the way USSR shipped them in to place on Cuba in 62,
they can anytime be brought in BY NATO (the peace keepers... grin )
onto Ukrainian soil in probably less than 12 hours at a later stage.
Putin dunn like.

RE: It is beginning to feel like the USA Autumn 1962

If nato is there with both feet, later, mobile nukes will be not far behind.
Nevermind the 1993 nukes sent east.
Cuba never had nukes either.

RE: It is beginning to feel like the USA Autumn 1962

Sure, But if you dig just a tad deeper you'll get it (Putins perspective).

RE: What is the cure to war?

Thanks or your reply Raphael. Now I know debating constructively with you
is a not gonna happen. But it's ok.

RE: What is the cure to war?

I'll post this vid here too. Raph, heard about "sphere of influence" ?

you can give it that Raph.

Stephen F. Cohen: NATO expansion and Russia

Then it can be argued that todays generation do not care about such stuff anylonger
and hey, that might just be! He for sure lost the media war
lead on by the large social media platforms.

RE: What is the cure to war?

Alright, let's say for the case of argument that that is his plan.
Why does he not include Belarus first, they not hostile. He could then have the backing
of any armed forces there, soldiers and equipment for his attack on Ukraine.
And why did he pull out of Georgia after only 12 days in 2008?
Had a bite but disliked the taste or something?

RE: What is the cure to war?

I can predict what will happen Tiger.
It will not spread to more countries. There will not be a ww3 in the sense we think of it normally, and certainly no nukes launched. Hmm what else, Putin don't wanna sit on Ukr forever that is also clear (to me).
He went there for a certain reason (you should look into that) and plan to leave as soon as the job is done. Problem is, he encountered resistance that I personally think he had hoped not to face.
maybe he was naive on that as was I.

What is going on down there now is horrible, let that be clear.
But it's not exactly Russia broadening it's land, not really.

RE: COVID surges again in China

Don't worry about that, Biden only believe in Mammon.

RE: What is the cure to war?

Hmmm.... I see usa footprint all over yea, but russian?
Are they the good guys then maybe, trying to halt american imperialism?
I used to believe we needed a world police, but that was before, not any longer.

RE: What is the cure to war?

Red, survival and the animal analogy is misplaced if greed (more than survival) is at the root.

Just saying. handshake

teddybear

RE: What is the cure to war?

You can call it that. I usually don't cos I think that word tells little. It can be confusing
as internet, talks and trade across borders are getting more and more common, and is not in itself a bad thing. F.inst you and me talking here now (globalization in a good way). So me personally don't use that word.
BUT, there are farces at play behind the scenes that naturally goes across borders.
Interests. Private as well as govs. And those are intertwined, that being the problem these days.
