I think it’s a bargain. Pedro will be thought of in Shakespearean mode, long after his death , so I see it as an investment for my gran & great grandchildren in the distant future.
Now we see images of animals that have been neglected on tv & charities ask us to donate money for their cause. We often cringe & these charities guilt us into donating money , but when it comes to human form ie , they are so skinny , you can practically see their organs through their ribcage, it is deemed as beautiful. I’m talking about supermodels. So why do we see skinny women as beautiful, yet we cringe when animals are undernourished?
That’s true Pedro .. People can have facelifts, Botox, tit jobs to enhance their looks , but there’s no operation that can change what’s on the inside .
Apparently, 1 person died with the new variant , so I can imagine how the government will manipulate the figures in the coming months.. unless of course , nobody dies in the meantime!
What happened to those pie & graph charts with the daily data providing us with updates? Or do we have to take the word of our politicians , who quite frankly, proved in the last 2 years , that they can’t be trusted .
The fact that the omicron variant is mild in comparison, suggests to me that covid is on its way out & will disappear like other viruses in the past .
I thought you may have known that , being an intelligent lady yourself , but I guess I’ll just have to use the laughing emoji , which BTW , I only use for the less fortunate among us .
I don’t think there is a man on the forums I haven’t insulted in my time here . Unfortunately, the majority can’t distinguish between banter &!insults .. and I think by your comments, you belong to the later .
