Is the new term for people who are having parties & gatherings in order to catch the omicron variant not to miss a future event because of illness . An example is , a bride to be in Australia, is having her hen night early in order to catch the virus & recover in time for her big day . Crazy or logical ?

I’m fed up with people who have nothing better to do than putting people into categories . Everyone is different in their own right , but I’m sure someone will invent a category to fit that persons description.
Australia may win the battle to deny a tennis playing from playing in a sporting event , but the war will inevitably be lost as far as controlling the pandemic is concerned.
Let me explain.. The tournament is an open tournament for anyone who can make the grade . Your country is denying a sportsman of applying his trade on a minor technically, which is proved to be irrelevant & invalid . It’s time for your PM to stop concentrating on his own self importance by denying a human being his right to freedom & let common sense prevail.
It’s not your daughters fault for the lack of testing facilities , although I do have sympathy with the general public , who by all accounts, may be doing the right thing by testing , not only for their own benefit, but to protect others . I know for a fact that in Australia, the driving thru testing centres can be a 3 hour wait .
I don’t think Novak is planning on staying in your country indefinitely. There’s a difference between asylum seekers & someone who wants to apply his trade for a couple of weeks . Even your prime minister can differentiate.

I don’t know , I haven’t really understood what the term “gaslighting” means .But if it’s a compliment, I’ll take it
